I don't know how you know about the situation that occurred, or if you even know what occured, but thank you for the respect. Believe me, in my youth I would not be this calm pertaining the situation, but after numerous life trails and errors I have learned that how I handle adverse situations truly shows the strength of my character... And I am strong, in Christ.

I am blessed! I know I may not vocalize it enough, but God gave me the grace to wake up this morning.. I have people that love me, for no reason at all but just to love.. I have wonderful family, a beautiful job, even better friends... I am so blessed. Hope you are doing well...

I have a lot of minuscule insecurities, ranging from attributes on my body to self articulation... I'm only human. But, I refuse to let them affect me. If I let everything I was self-conscious about weigh me down I would never be able to move forward in life. I simply refocus that energy into something productive, give 100% of my energy, so that my confidence is substantiated.

I am going to say this once, and from here on out I just pray that people will stop asking... In the beginning we liked each other. I had met him through a mutual friend of ours, thought he was talented, and our situation flourished from there. We started to get to know each other better, hang out, see him on dinner/lunch breaks, we were chill. Then I started writing for him (@AwkWORDsilence), but I guess my head was in the situation business/pleasure, trying to keep it professional, but not regess, and his head was else where dealing with things on his end; shxt happens, thus is life. He ended up moving back to Texas. Silly optimistic me, for a while, thought that we could seriously be more than friends long-distance. But that was nothing more than a pipe dream. Eventually I just got tired of being in a seemingly one-sided involvement. 8 months celibacy was way too long for someone who you may never see again. Yes, I was in love with the ideal of him, but he wasn't ready to be receptive of that ideal. It wasn't meant to be, and thats fine. I have moved on with life. I have nothing but courtouetous love and respect for the guy, and I hope he excels in everything he does. Hope that satisfies your questions. I know you probably want the juicy details but there are no juicy details to tell.

I've currently ceased work on some of my projects, because I'm putting a benefit concert and clothing drive to those affected by the disaster in Haiti.

Yes... and a pen and paper, my collection of L. Boogie tracks, and a whole bunch of self love. Doesn't take away the pain, or the lessons learned, but it eases the transition, boosts the confidence, and you find yourself having faith in love again.
