My favorite season is summer.
In this tropical country, there aren't plenty of seasons actually. In a way, it's like there are only 2 kinds: rainy and not rainy. :)
And well summer is the best for me because even if it's hot, it's sunny most of the time and I like sunny days because compared to rainy days, they're not depressing. IDK, I'm mostly happier during summer.
There was a time where I wished that it was summer all year, but really I don't think I'd be happy if that happened. I love the rain too and life is all about variety. It's why I want to go to other countries and experience winter, spring, fall etc., because each season has its ups and downs and they complement each other and I wouldn't have it any other way. -
HOT FUZZ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_Fuzz)
I don't seem to get tired of it no matter how many times I watch it. I can even recite most of the dialog now. (LOL geek much?)
I love this movie so hard. -
That would be...
MISHA COLLLINS.

Yes. Misha. f*cking, Collins. bby. Sexy in body, heart, mind and soul. -
That's tough... I like lots of animals.
Some of my favorites are: pandas, cats, dogs, bears, birds and lizards. -
I believe in God yes but I'm a self-proclaimed agnostic.
I don't really want to follow any religion because I feel restrained and I think it's rather constricting. I used to be a Roman Catholic, but I got very easily exasperated with priests and the rules of the church.
The funny thing is, my family is Catholic and I don't mind prayers before and after meals or praying in general. I sometimes read scripture as well. However going to mass etc... I don't do that anymore.
Still I respect those who have different beliefs. I don't particularly enjoy participating in theological debates since I think everyone should stick to what THEY want to believe in. -
Hahaha depende.
Ahh... I haven't even rode a ship, an airplane or gone anywhere besides the island where I live in. I haven't been out of the country ever and the farthest I've been is still near enough to drive to, albeit 12 hours away.
Which is partly why I have a great interest in travelling abroad. I really want to see places and go out of the country... le sigh. -
I don't particularly want to get a car actually and I don't even have any plans to learn how to drive, but if I could have any car I would choose the eco-friendly types which typically seat only one or two people. Hahaha...
I dunno... with so many cars in this planet, it just seems like an excess if I would get my own, especially in this country where the price of fuel and the state of traffic isn't really encouraging. I can't bear to contribute to the fossil fuels already suspended in the atmosphere by purchasing another automobile that I don't really deem a necessity.
Yeah I'm a wannabe environmentalist geek. So sue me. Heh. -
That sounds very sad... but the reality is that it's a natural thing that happens a lot.
There are plenty of possible reasons why that person may have lost interest. I would think back carefully as to what it might have been: have I been negligent towards that person? Did I do something to offend that person? Or did he/she simply lose interest?
If I have done something then I try to work things out by talking, apologizing or asking for another chance. It can be quite difficult depending on your personality and that of which who loves you, but it's one of the only ways to fix things. It depends on the person's willingness to talk as well. If he/she doesn't even want to talk or work things out, then that's a big sign that maybe you should step back and give her/him some time to think alone. It requires patience. Then after ample time has been given then you can try again.
However if the person has lost interest in me altogether, then I will eventually realize that and allow him/her to move on. Although I'm a passive type of person so that's the only thing I know and can do. I can't bring myself to force the person to see me as something special or love me if he/she doesn't want to anymore. Maybe I can still be a part of his/her life, but not the same role as before. -
Oh that's a great idea. I think that would be very touching and sweet. =u= Poems are beautiful and convey emotions very well. It's romantic, classic and will make an impression. It also says a lot about the person who wrote it so it makes things more special / personal.
I would say that is more than okay! ^^b -
It's very fortunate that he understands English well! I would say be careful of highfalutin but I'm pretty confident that you can write a good letter.
Ah, strict talent agencies can be quite intimidating! However it's okay, I believe as long as it's on the friendly & affectionate side, they would allow it? I mean I can't see why they would disallow something completely harmless so I hope they aren't unreasonable people and they let your letter through! I think they're only meant to screen the likes of death threats or those that read like they come from obsessive stalker fans. Regardless it's still worth a try. Even if you're uncertain if the letter does get to him or not, it still wouldn't hurt to continue writing to him if you feel like it. I don't think sending letters cost very much nowadays? Although I don't know much about mailing stuff. ^^;;; -
That would be lovely. I think sending someone a little something on their birthday is more personal than on Valentines anyway so that's a nice idea. :)
-
Hahaha, I'd most likely apply for the art-related jobs like concept artist or the 2D graphics designer. TBH I don't even know the fancy terms the artist staff have in the team since I never really bothered to look it up but maybe I will now since I feel ignorant.
I'm still a rookie in the industry so I don't think it's a good idea to think of myself too highly and apply for big jobs. I'd take menial tasks just so I can have experience first. I could be the staff who cleans up the head artist's lineart/sketches, or one of the staff who colors and adds textures. Heck as a first job in a game studio, I'd even take errand girl/maid. :)) But yeah that'd be a silly position to apply for so basically I'd stick to the more artistically inclined positions since my knowledge in programming is probably laughable at the moment.
Lol now I wanna ask YOU the same question. I think I'll do just that. -
I'd say go on, write him a Valentines letter! I reckon this is the same 'idol' you were referring to in a previous question? Well I think his status or distance from you is no reason for you to NOT write him. Letters are a great way to let someone know how you feel or what you think. Tell him how you feel but remember to stay polite and to be friendly but not overly familiar, as I take it this is the first time you'll be writing? And you probably aren't really that well-acquainted yet so it'd be best to not come off as someone too suspicious or creepy. I think it's a good idea to be mindful of your grammar & spelling when writing him too so that the message and the feelings you want to convey gets across more clearly. Make a draft or a couple of drafts, read through the letter a few times and think carefully if there's anything there that needs correcting since the good thing about letters is that unlike speaking to someone firsthand, things are less impromptu and you can think much more calmly & coherently than when that person is right in front of you.
If you think its appropriate and if you want the letter to be more personal, you should also take note of what paper to write on, what color of ink to use, that kinda thing. IMHO if its a digital letter (e-mail, e-card etc) it'd be less personal but not entirely impersonal since there're plenty of customizations to it as well. (It also depends on that guy you're writing and what you think he'd prefer more.)
Just remember, even if he's a superstar or a prince or 'insert-an-intimidating-status-here', you're still both human and he can still read your letter and relate to the feelings expressed within. Also I think it's better to write him (even if not for Valentines-- maybe his birthday or some other holiday. Maybe it doesn't even need to be a holiday) than not write at all ever and then regret not doing anything. =) -
Honestly I believe that YES, there is a possibility. As long as you walk the same planet and live in the same timeline, no matter how small that possibility is, it can still happen.
Some people will probably tell you to stop dreaming but if you really, really want it then don't let anyone tell you otherwise cause they don't know nothing. Dreaming is the first step. You gotta want it really bad and then envision it and then work towards it little by little. -
Yup I think so? XD I remember reading that it wasn't Odachi's original story. It was nice though. :)
-
Haha yeah! Odachi makes some pretty AWESOME female characters IMHO. I've always loved the female designs etc. in One Piece, even the villains. I remember I liked Ms. Valentine and Alvida (when she ate the Subesube fruit already lol), plus some others whose names I can't remember ATM.
Favorite arc? Hmm, well I hope you don't mind that the arcs I'll be mentioning are from the early parts of the series! I haven't gone very far with catching up to the show and it looks like I'll get to read the manga faster than I get to watch.
I remember having 2 favorites: Arlong's arc and the one with the Millenium Dragon. I really liked the story about the little girl who ate the whisper fruit and could understand animals.
Actually with OP, I remember liking and crying over plenty of scenes scattered throughout different arcs. X"DD *sap* -
Ahh that hahaha.... well it's cause I really like mushrooms. I sorta have this mushroom fixation wherein I am attracted to mushroom-themed stuff like bags, jewelry etc. My friends joke around and tease me that I like it cause it's phallic and I think that's a gross interpretation but I laugh and play along with that joke since it's funny.
When I was drawing an avatar of myself around 2 years ago, I started putting on a mushroom hat and it was based on the enemies you see in Mario World, those little guys with mushroom caps.
Then it just kinda stuck. My normal female self wears a red and white polka-dot mushroom hat and my man!self wears a blue and white one. :) I hope that answers your question! -
There aren't too many I think since I've been away from the fandom for some time, but the pairing which I first fell in love with was *cough*yaoi alert*cough* Roronoa Zoro x Monkey D. Luffy.
I just really love these 2 and the way they interact. I remember when I first liked One Piece, it wasn't so popular online yet since the series had almost just begun, so there weren't many fanclubs of pairings. I am proud to declare that our LuffyZoro yaoi comm on LJ (I put one up cause I loved it so much) was one of the first! XD
I also used to like me a bit of Sanji x Nami I remember... and even a bit of Gin x Sanji because I'm crazy like that.
But the most recent pairing that caught my attention was Boa Hancock x Monkey D. Luffy! I've only ever seen pictures of Hancock, but for some reason, I can sense this powerful chemistry between her and Luffy. She's the reason I want to watch One Piece again cause I luff her design. :3
I adore Ace but I haven't quite decided who I wanna pair him with, although most of my pals love Smoker x Ace LOL. -
Oh LOL Crocodile! I knew I wouldn't be able to guess! XDD I remember Luffy's battle with him, it was intense! And yeah I think I read something about his voice on your FB? Haha, it IS a pretty striking voice from what I recall. Makes me wanna re-watch those eps...
I know everyone you mentioned except for Trafalger and Kid. I'm looking up One Piece character lists and latest news right now to see who they are and what the latest developments are. :D
