We have free will. So you do not have to do anything that you don't want to. But the Bible is clear about how God feels about cursing:

If it's going into your mind, it's going to eventually come out. Yes, some songs w/ cursing have good messages & cool beats, but if it leads you toward cursing and sinning, then it's not a good thing.

It's ultimately his decision. If he wants to stay with you, that's awesome, but I feel like he'd be doing a disservice to himself and missing out on college in a way, by staying with you. College is all about starting anew and moving onto this new chapter of your life, so holding on to your past kinda prevents you from doing that. But please don't worry about getting too attatced to him-- live in the present, not the future. In most relationships, you're going to break up in the future, it's kinda inevitable, but even knowing that while in the relationship, doesn't take away from the beauty of being with that person.

I read all 3 parts! So first of all, a lot of ppl don't respond to facebook chat bcuz their phone makes it look like they're always online, just by having their phone on but also, soo many ppl (I even do this) will log into facebook in one tab & then be doing whatever in another tab & forget that their facebook was even open... so never judge a relationship based on facebook. You're on the speech team? that's awesome! I do debate at my school, too! i love it. With the whole, "I know a novice who'd do better," comment he MAY have been teasing you, if he seemed super serious, he could be nervous about flirting with you, but most likely he's just being a typical jerk. There's definetly a chance he likes you. There's more of a chance he's going back & forth on whether or not he likes you. But MOST LIKELY you're overanalyzing how he's interacting with you (like all girls do). The best thing to do is ask your friends if he's flirting with you. They'll be able to judge his motives more accurately than you!
