i loved trainspotting and tried reading some irvine welsh before and for some reason at the time of reading it, the heavy slang wasn't something i was in the mood for. i have read clockwork orange and some other heavy slang books, but i need to revisit irvine welsh. from all i have heard, he is well worth it. its something i will keep in mind for sure.

thank you so much. its not a brand gimmick at all. its just what i dig and i didnt like most of my clothing options out there so made and make things i like and hope people enjoy it too. i lose out a lot by not having my logo on things, but i make up for it in making clothes i stand behind.

i just made a track jacket for the spring release that has it on the sleeve. im so weird about slapping my name across things. it makes perfect sense so everyone sees it but i personally am not one to wear tees with logos put on just because and i worry people wont buy something like that. i do totally agree that it would be the wisest decision though to promote the brand name.

the belts are how i pay my bills. the shirts are more the fun thing to keep me artistically involved in something. i probably wouldnt sell both and if i sold one id just push the other one more. all i do all day is those two but its plenty enough to keep me busy.

i would be totally into doing a fountainhead one. theres so much quotable stuff in that book as well but id want to stay away from any buildings. isnt my jam. anthem is so similar in a sense to brave new world and i have a 1984 design coming out that its iffy, but its something i will definitely keep in mind. ayn rand has so many quotes you could probably build an entire line off of her.

i had one called the cost of ideas from 2 yrs ago and the circle logo is based off of the book as well.

no one has offered yet. i thought about selling the belts at one point, but honestly, it would have to be close to $75k for that and would take someone serious. as for the clothing, no one has asked but if given a good enough offer, i would potentially.

i tired doing an illiad/odyssey theme before and gave ideas to my artist, ranging across both books. i sent him about 8 ideas for tees and said pick 3 which turned into posiedon, hades and the sirens. i had an idea for an achilles in my head and he didnt choose that one. maybe down the road.

i tried doing a somewhat inspired version of my left arm with paradise lost done by dan mumford. the art on my sleeve is based off of illustrations that gustave dore did for paradise lost. i forget if i asked GM about doing it, but i thought the detail of mumford would match it well.
