Stop trying so hard, learn a little bit of humility, and as a nation avoid calling attention to yourself from those who would do you harm. That, and competent law enforcement, without spying on/praying on citizens.

Probably these days falling trees. I live in a forrest, and saw a 100 foot tree fall over and smash the neighbors fence once.

No. If the pet is in that bad shape, chances are I'd be giving up a limb which is a life long hardship only to buy the pet a few more months.
