Why are you so into god?
Because he has changed me SO much. The people closest to me (Christian or not) have also seen a great change in me as well. He has helped me overcome so many trials and tribulations in my life. I couldn't do it on my own and he never left my side, he never will either.

a close friend who went to so many church things and was "on the verge of change." somebody told him some mean stuff and now hes agnostic and hates everybody. why do you believe in something that has attributed in turning him into the guy he is today?
God is calling us all to him. We are all his children. It is ultimately OUR choice whether we want to follow him or not and some choose not to follow Christ, while others do; nonetheless he loves us all equally. God is not just going to make something fall out of the sky and automatically change us. We have to have faith in him. It took me two years to change and to finally get to where I am and I was not able to do it on my own. I was only able to accomplish and overcome what I have with the help of Jesus. I didn't just sit around waiting for something to happen, I had to put in an effort to. God isn't just going to let you do nothing while he does everything, you must be willing to work as well. Life with God is not about a religion, it's about a relationship with Christ. The message of the cross is that even in our darkest times God will NEVER turn from us in disgust. He is there in our sorrow, under the weight of our shame. He's there through our heartache, and in the storm. He doesn't care where we fall, where we have been or what we have done; he will never forsake us. HIS LOVE NEVER ENDS. "And without FAITH it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him" -Hebrews 11:6
