Alex Day is uncompromisingly honest, in both his words and actions. Out of everyone I've ever met, he's easily the most comfortable with simply stating how he feels, and that's what I respect about him most. He and I, in some ways, hold vastly different outlooks on life, but he's very respectful and supportive of my views, and, because of that, he makes it very easy to respect his views. He's not a perfect human being, of course, but he's more committed to personal growth than most people I know.

When it comes to his artistic output, he's driven by creativity for creativity's sake, rather than by money, which is both very rare and (in my opinion) desirable.

In short, I'm very happy that I can consider him my friend, and I can't express how happy it makes me when I hear him refer to me as his friend.
