Your WIN and student account information will stay the same, but you will have to reapply to take a course in the summer since it has been more than one term since you last attended. If you are just wanting to take one or two classes through WU to transfer back to your school, you will most likely want to fill out a non degree seeking application. If you are planning on becoming a student this summer and continuing here at WU, you will fill out the degree seeking application.

You can declare a major but it will be considered "pending" until you actually enroll in classes. If you would like to Declare or Change a Major, you can do so by emailing me your name, and the major you would like to declare. Once you enroll, you are allowed to change/declare your major on your own, but until that time, we have to do it for you.

No. Freshman are not required to live on campus. We encourage students to do so because it is a great way to get connected to other students and events on campus, but it is not required.

My schedule varies significantly depending on how soon you are wanting to schedule a visit. I travel quite a bit so am often out of the office. If we can plan something on very short notice, I am available tomorrow and Thursday (Nov. 9/10) afternoon. If that will not work, the next time I could meet with you would be the afternoon of Thursday, Nov. 17 or sometime on Fri., Nov. 18. Please let me know if any of those times work for you. You can also call me at 785-670-1904. Thanks.

She should call the campus police department at 785-670-1153. They will be able to help her.

At Washburn we do not have a separate application for our general academic scholarships. Students automatically apply for them by applying for admissions. There are a few additional scholarships with separate applications, and those should be listed on the scholarship site at http://www.washburn.edu/main/admissions/more-info/Scholarship-Information.html. I hope that answered your question and we look forward to seeing you on Monday!!
