I tend to spend a lot of time looking at blogs of photographers that I admire. But I try not to only do that as the only thing, you can get tunnel vision! I draw inspiration from my clients themselves and I challenge myself to create new and interesting images thay they don't already have on their walls! Light is a huge source of inspiration as well...especially when its coming through the trees at sunset...it makes me giddy!

There was a holiday season? I must have blinked and missed it :) No New Years resolution for me! I'm continuously trying to improve myself in business and personal life throughout the year!

I love to travel for myself. If I get hired for a destination wedding, I always take an extra day or two to explore a new place.
Oh and i love massages. i get them once a month!

Wow that makes my brain hurt. There is something I am planning to do in the future for a friend, which will top everything i've ever done, but i doubt that counts yet. :)
So I'll stick with most recent...paid for a strangers coffee at Starbucks and left before they found out. -
Ooh you know, I really like engagement sessions! I have full control over location, light, time, etc. It really gives me the chance to chat with my couples and get to know them without the stress of a wedding in the way! I also really enjoy the getting ready part...you can just feel the anticipation of the day to come...so exciting!

Travel! And meeting some amazing clients (some that turn in to friends!) that I probably wouldn't have met otherwise!

I've owned cats my whole life. I have one now, had her for 14 years! She is a spoiled brat and thinks she is smarter than me. Some days I think she is smarter. Next cat I get will probably be a male since they tend to me more cuddly. But i love my mean black cat! hahaa

I was always a photographer for the most part...since I got my degree in College. I worked for a newspaper and hated it.
After that I went through a quarter-life crisis because I didn't know what I wanted...so I worked in a jewelry store, a doctors office, a winery and a children's motocross company! -
Way more than I can count! I was seriously in over half of the pics at my wedding...haha
