I definitely go through times where I find myself being more jealous than inspired. I wrote about it here and my readers shared some great advice on how to combat it -

The best thing for me to do is take a few days off from blog reading and focus on a fun project. Also remember, people usually only blog the good stuff. If you really saw what happened behind the scenes you would realize it really is not all that glamourous. -
Pretty good. Pretty, pretty good. My life has been bumpy lately but I keep on telling myself, "At least it's summer!" Summer makes everything better.

Probably about 75. My faves are listed here- http://youaremyfave.com/daily-reads/
I look at my reader everyday and at least hit up my top ten favorites. I do it while taking breaks from work and during my down time at night. I like to keep up with what others are doing. It's inspiring! -
I guess I'm kind of the same as I was in high school and try to stay out of all that. I have a close group of friends and just enjoy it. If a blogger does show some cattiness or makes rude remarks about somebody else, I tend to stop reading their blog and supporting them.

I am a huge advocate of adoption and have seen the miracle of the process in many of the lives of my family members. I would absolutely consider it but we're not quite there yet.

If I would consider it a fave.

I came across this shop today and saw some lovely ones: http://www.notemaker.com.au/ or there's http://katespaperie.com/

I'm sorry to here that you are too struggling. Praying for miracles for all of us.

My only qualification for answering this question is that I watched an entire season of Top Chef last week. I would go with something simple but choose the freshest ingredients possible because that's what will make it taste good. I would go with a spinach artichoke dip or tomato bruschetta with toasted baguettes for the appetizer, a homemade pasta with fresh tomato and basil for the entree (with maybe a simple arugula salad on the side) and some of those chocolate pots for dinner (you know the ones in individual ramekin and it's just melted chocolate, butter and sugar?). Good luck!

Nobody has ever told me my pictures are pretty, you may be referencing other's photos I've posted. A good camera works wonders for a non-photographer like me. I just got a Canon Rebel T2i which my pro photographer friend suggested was the right choice for a beginner. The camera I used before that was a Canon Powershot S5 IS which was a pretty good point and shoot.

You can't go wrong with planted boxes of wheat grass and fresh flowers. Here are a couple other ideas:
Paper flowers and branch (you could do this in softer shades): http://blissfulfetes.blogspot.com/2011/04/se.html
this hanging fixture is awesome: http://www.snippetandink.com/ballet-inspired-wedding.html

I'm a habitual list maker and I use the old school form of a pen and notebook to jot down my ideas. Then I make sub-lists of things I need to do and a quick timeline of when I should have them done by. I make sure to get photos at the party in order to keep a record. So my method is pretty elementary.
I keep track of online ideas I come across by using Tumblr and Pinterest. -
I used to want to be a make-up artist when I was younger. My dad told me it was all freelance work and that I should go after a different occupation, like a nurse. I can't even give blood I get so faint. Anyway, as far as brushes, Sonia Kashucks brushes at Target are a good buy and I'm a sucker for anything Bobbi Brown makes because she's fab.

Some online magazines are very well done, like Sweet Paul, Lonny and Rue - but I agree that they would be even better in print. I realize there's a greater cost to this and understand why they chose to go the digital route but when I got my issue of Anthology, I about died it was so glorious.
Some complaints about online mags - it seems like everyone is doing one now and it gets a little much, it's hard to pull great images from them and sometimes I click onto the next page and I get an ad instead. -
My readers are extremely supportive and nice to me so it's really the least I can do. I love the blogging community and think the golden rule is apparent throughout it.

I think this falls into the same line as sometimes being jealous of other blogs and yes, it happens on occasion. Usually it's moments of, "Why didn't I think of that?!" or "Crap, I was going to post the same thing!" or wishes of having similar success or attention. It happens, you complain to your half listening husband, then you realize how ridiculous you sound and move on.
I've made a lot of friends in the blog world and generally I'm happy for their successes and not competitive because I've met them and genuinely like them. -
Maybe you should pull a Phil and Claire Dunphy and have your husband hit on you like you don't know each other.

I've been down about unemployment and other life troubles but have never had to combat hurtful rumors. I'm sorry, people are sometimes the worst. I read a book once about someone who was going through a huge trial and he said that he allowed himself 10 minutes out of the day to feel sorry for himself then he would lift himself up and focus on the good and be happy. It's not unhealthy or unnatural to be really down about something, you just can't let it take over your entire life. Start a gratitude journal, drop the unhealthy relationships and focus on the good people in your life, distract yourself with projects that you're passionate about, serve, pray.

In all honesty, I cannot remember which post you're referring to. But if you scroll down you can see a few of my fave spots in an answer to another question. If you are looking for specifics - email me.
