Overall, I'm happier. That was my entire reason for changing everything. My new work is challenging, and every week I can show everyone what I've been developing. I'm confident in the product, company, and my future with them. I don't have any regrets.

I don't think I was "desensitized" as a youth because of media such as video games and movies. I know I didn't understand the gravity of such acts. My life experiences have taught me the weight of words like "rape". It's not so much "re-sensitizing" as it is understanding the context and consequences.
