Probably because they want to be on the "in crowd" to look hip and "cool". Nothing's cool about hiding your identity behind a computer screen and saying rude things to people. Although I have to admit we ALL do it at one point in time (some more than others).
I think the reason why they say rude things is because their identity is "anonymous" so we don't know who they are. That gives them the ability to say whatever they want, and we can't do anything (except answer the "question") about it.
I mean, shit if you're gonna rude, why wait? Just say it now because waiting isn't gonna make you look any less of a jerk. -
