Hah, well, I am a long way from Chris Brogan status - and to be honest, I'm not modeling myself after his success. He clearly is extremely successful and I have nothing but respect for his work ethic, but I never aim to be a "Social Media guru".

With that being said, what he does, or any of those at the "top" of the Social Media Game - involves a lot of time and effort. Like any relationship, it takes time to develop - to earn trust and respect from your peers, readers, clients, and customers. The first thing you MUST do is break free of the "NOW" mindset. Social Media, as a marketing tool, requires real time and effort on your part. It truly is a "get what you give" medium.
