The towns are generally boring, unless you can make your own fun, which for my friends and I is gaming, telling your mom jokes, and driving random places and taking pictures.
My town is just small enough for half the town to know you, even if they don't know your name, and even if you aren't "popular". -

Right now it's freezing, but in the summer it gets to 120f without second thought, lol. I'm a Nor Cal guy, haha, but in any case I don't even like California that much, I'd rather be in Montana in the mountains.

The desert part, lol. Between Bakersfield and LA, in the Mojave. People pass through my little town on their way either to Mojave or to Death Valley.
