What process do you go through when narrowing down your pics? I am so good at seeing everyone else's best work, but when it comes to my own, I have such a hard time seeing which is best. Any tips/tricks that have worked for you?
Culling is one of the harder things to do. As an artist we get quite attached to our images...whether they are great or not. I use Lightroom for my culling. I go through once and star my instant likes, see how many I have...then go through again. The second or even third time through I am looking for variety. There is no reason to show my client several images that are very similar. I try to choose 25-35 unique images.
