On a sheer musical level I'd have to say Stevie Ray Vaughn, though I've been listening to a lot of T-bone Walker and Taj Mahal recently and they are becoming my second and third favorites, respectively. B.B. King would of course be way up on the list too.

It is kind of a weird song but it is Fly With the Wind by McCoy Tyner, with Billy Cobham on drums and a bunch of other incredible jazz/fusion musicians. It kind of encompasses everything I wish music in the 70's was...full of exploration yet still wonderfully cheesy.

Ronald Jenkees? I don't know, but I'm super into his music right now and he seems under appreciated.

Ummmm...Who am I listening to right now?
p.s. It's Madeleine Peyroux -
Probably the New Yorker; I especially love the short stories and poems. Some of the best lesser-known writers and artists are showcased.
