I have worked, and do work in what you call "proper tv". I'm the host of Associated Press TV's international showbiz programme Entertainment Now, as well as doing programmes for many years for a number of different production companies. I don;t agree that shopping television isn;t proper - it's seriously one of the hardest live jobs in the business which is why not that many people can do it. Famous names come and go, and they all agree it's the most difficult TV they've done.
