Tradition for our family is to have "Christmas Dinner" on Christmas Eve, and wait 'til midnight to open our presents. Sometimes as kids, we'd try to convince our grandma to let us open them a few minutes before hand, but it never happened.

I personally think Elliott Smith's music is alright. It's nice to listen to when I'm reading or just laying around or online. I like it, but I'm not crazed over it. People like different things. It's okay not to like him. And if other people can't get that through their heads, well, they're stupid. :]
