i don't like him, but i don't hate him. he didn't do anything outstanding with his time in the limelight, and personally i think he wasted it. Pac did somethin with his time. Big did somethin with his time. Em did somethin with his time. 50 even did somethin with his time. Wayne just got richer. but who am i to judge? maybe that's all he wanted. he's not the first and he won't be the last. i guess he made pop music cool again for a while. down down down down down.

drake is one of the only legitimate MCs in the mainstream right now...but his mainstream verses get repetitive. His underground stuff...thumbs up.

i dont think the industry will fail...people will start to see that as artists, without monetary support from fans (i.e. actually BUYING our music) their favorite artists won't be able to create the art the fans love hearing. it might take a while...but i think that'll set in soon enough. labels are just companies...they have finite amounts of dough to put into artists that don't sell. -
As of now, my goals are to make the kind of music I like to make...and to make a living off doing what I love. I'd also like to be a beacon...you know, inspire people that may otherwise ignore their passion for something they love doing, due to the possibility of failure.

not really sure on that one. in my opinion he's just a one hit wonder that's overstayed his 15 minutes in the limelight....Day and Night wasn't THAT tight.
