In Queenstown (only hot springs in the town/area!), in the middle of nowhere (I've tried looking for the name or a link but cant find anything-sorry!) and at Lake Tekapo. I'd recommend trying to get down to the Fjords - that was one place we didnt have time to get to and we heard it was a must see (: Hope you get to go!

Hi there! Thank you soooooo much. I currently use a Nikon d90 but am hoping to upgrade soon. I hope you travel too! - or study abroad while you're still in school (:

Hi! I'd keep checking the weather before you leave, but it should be starting to get warmer then so I'd pack a pair of cute boots and definitely flats... I haven't worn sneaks yet when traveling on mainland, except when we went for a hike around Mt Fuji. You'll probably want layers too and light sweaters and comfy maxi skirts/dresses to layer with. Excited for you!!

Hi! I size them to 680 pixels, which is how wide my center column is. I played around until I figured out the width. I haven't done a post on that before.. but I try to do as little editing as possible -- shoot in good, natural light, and then up the brightness and contrast, sharpen, and sometimes add a little vibrancy or saturation. Thank you so much!! (:

Hi (: Hooray! I'm so excited for you. I hope you and your fam love it here. There is a really helpful website/forum for people moving here (and living here) -- www.okinawahai.com
Also, you should have a sponsor once it gets closer to your move who will essentially hold your hands through the moving process and help you get settled and answer all your q's!

Oh I hope you go! It is incredible. I chose Italy because I'd always been attracted to the culture, language, food, landscape, lifestyle, etc. I went abroad the summer before my junior year of college and stayed through the summer leading up to my senior year. I studied History (my major) and Italian of course (my other major). GO! (:

Elizabeth! Of course I do! We fell in love with it too. Haha- the caravan... It was an adeventure thats for sure. Prob my last time renting one but it actually was a great time together and gave us the freedom to stay or go in each place when we wanted. Hope youre having a great trip!

Jessica, thank you!!! I bought a NZ travel book and planned it on my own. The South Island isn't big and there's a ton of info on tripadvisor. I basically just planned out a general route and then we decided once we there how long we wanted to stay in each place and found other places along the way.

Aw. Thank you so, so much! Happy New Year to you, too! No, I haven't done a post on that before.. I don't really feel qualified for that yet. But if you're curious, I only shoot in natural light, always in manual, and the editing I do is brighten, add contrast, sharpen, and occasionally up the saturation or vibrance.

I'm bad on the spot with this - there's so many. My favorite quote of all time is "Seize the day." Two blogs that inspire my cooking & photography are Cannelle et Vanille & Yummy Mummy. I'm inspired every day from running on the beach, being outside in God's creation, reading my bible, prayer, my husband, seeing and smelling beautiful flowers, talking with girlfriends who challenge me to be a more mature woman, being active in any way, my parents!, farmers markets, reading books- specifically The Hidden Art... by Edith Schaeffer- it's had a huge influence on me this year, being shown kindness or generosity... there's so very much each day. Sorry I can't narrow it down.. I could go on and on! I've been meaning to do a post on this. Thanks for the great question.

We were in a lot of the same situations. It's brutal, but not sharing a hotel room, or any room.. or couch, etc for the night... was what we had to do, even though we often failed at that. Ugh, it is SO hard and frustrating to wait. Maybe one of the hardest and most unnatural things to do. It even caused a wedge in our relationship at times because it's so unnatural, but it's right and honoring to God, and in the end, your marriage will be so blessed for it. I'd highly recommend not sharing a room and talking about why it is you're not sharing a room and why you're waiting. Brutally honest communication is vital.
I'm proud of you guys for it!

Thank you so much!! I usually eat leftovers from the night before or make a big salad. If we have leftover chicken I'll put it in there, and I also snack a lot during the day, sometimes instead of lunch. One of my favorite lunches is caprese salad with avocado, cheese and a little bread - I'll post it this week for you and try to photograph some other easy lunch ideas!

Thank you!! I have some printed and hung in our house but otherwise they're saved in Lightroom. I back it up every month or so and keep a lot of files on an external hard drive but thanks - you're reminding me I need to put my photos on there regularly!

Ana mia!! It was really relaxing and low key... we had good friends over Christmas eve and then Cam and I spent Christmas day just us. Went for a run on the beach, cooked a big breaky, read Luke 2, opened presents and spent the day in our pjs. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas in Portugallo!
