It's a good thing that you didn't ask a third time. I'm like that guy from Austin Powers.. If you ask a third time, I'd have to tell you.

I did? That's monstrous of me. I really should be ashamed of myself for such a thing. That seems like absolutely horrible, horrible behaviour. Really, there's no excuse for it, and anyone who engages in such a thing is clearly a lesser human being. I, for one, will not stand for such a thing if it is within my power to change! .. what do you mean I did it again?

Definitely not. I barely play them anymore... I think that Ranger was the face of forum games for a long while, but that's probably dying out somewhat as new people join who don't know Ranger... If anything, I might be a good Drew Barrymore-esque role from Scream... Someone who is popular enough for people to know who he is, so he makes a great victim before the real action starts :D

Assume it was an actor in make up, probably... Now, if I just saw it attack someone, and there was any chance of anyone else being attacked, I'd probably do what I could to stop it... If I didn't have anything that I could do that with, I'd probably run and try to find help.

I like blacksmith's daughters as well, but in another story, the story progression required her death... Soooo she died :) Characters in my story die in order to achieve certain story objectives... One of which is the feeling that the Ones are not really the bad guys in my story ;)

I'm not sure exactly which of three questions this is asking, so I'll use the scattershot approach and hope I hit what you want.

The first step in writing the entire series was to come up with some backstory to explain why zombies were the way that they were in TOGMland. A lot of the first book is delving into the how and why of the zombies taking over, becoming intelligent and building their society. As we go on, I'm trying to build upon that and reveal some things that will change the readers impressions of how things work.

With regards to writing an arc, I tried to come up with a major focus for each section.. The first book was about John finding his place within this new world, and how he relates to the inhabitants. In the second book, it's primarily been about who he is: Is he John, or is he Thomas? So I try to take in the backstory and then come up with something that both explores that and explores John's adventure in the present.

With regards to writing an individual strip, I wrote down a list of ideas of what I wanted to happen, and a given order. It might be something as simple as Beth is talking to Alexander, or something that delves more into it. 150, for example, has a specific outline for every scene involved. So after I take the basic idea of what I want to happen, I try to come up with a scene that incorporates that one theme. I tend to try to write something at least moderately funny, or something that is suspenseful, but I'm a hack, so sometimes I just have to accept that nothing's going to work the way I want on this strip, and so long as it incorporates that idea, it can be called Done and passed off to June.

Oh, one more option you could be talking about. Generally I start writing TOGM with a T. :D

No, for the same reason :D Well, she might be okay with it, but still no :P

Why? It's actually the shortest question that doesn't require outside information in order to be a valid question that you can ask, I believe. Meaning that I could say "3?" if someone asked me "How many chocolate eggs do you want?", but you have to have that.. Whereas Why? is sort of a question unto itself.

    16. James

That's not even a question! As entertaining as I found that meme at one point, he doesn't get to be a question.

    17. James

Protein, because it can be taken in a separate context than just biology :D

DNA obviously. JoCo never wrote a song about Protein. (That I know of.)

Sometimes when I'm biting their fingers off I happen to get the fingernail, but it's an accidental thing at best, and so for the purposes of this question, I'm going to say maybe.
