Ayo's name came from the sounds she makes and I'm guessing Kera was named after the protein keratin, which is found in hair, so how did the other monsters get their names?
Rixis was just a cool sounding name, got from mixing up the word Iris and the letter X (because Xes sound cool.) Guuzy came from the fact that Guuzy likes to spit up different goo. Maybe they dont all seem like things kids would name monsters, but I wanted them to have certain vowel sounds etc.
