If you had a choice between a 90 minute flight or a 12 hour drive on the open road, which would you take?
A 12h flight. Why settle for less? ✈

Do people generally think they are smarter than they really are?
Yes! There's a biological imperative to thinking oneself is better/smarter/makes more of a contribution than all others, because it justifies the taking of resources one doesn't need for survival to one's superego.
Like how I linked several bullshit theories into one small, smelly mountain? -

Do you think it's possible for people to truly reinvent themselves?
The short answer: No.
It's possible to change almost everything about your image, way of life and mannerisms, hell, even your accent can change over time. It's possible to learn new things, and develop new tastes, but in the end, you are who you are. -

The Moody Blues? Their last album I think came out in 2003 and I've never seen it in the shops! :( The last one we have is Strange Times, but that came out in 1999! 8o They have been doing more of the Touring these days though. But their top albums were really in that period from 1967-1972 when they were simply doing some incredible albums (seven in all).
The band I have been going with and have been doing stuff since the 80s is an Aussie Band The Church. I don't have much of their stuff, I have 2 albums from the 80s - The Blurred Crusade and Heyday. But I came across some stuff they did in 2009 and it was incredible to believe it was the same band, but again I just love the music, even if it's different from their 80s stuff - which does sound 80s. Initially I got this EP called Pangaea with 4 songs on it, Pangaea itself was the only one from the Album - Untitled #23, which has some amazing stuff on it along with a 18 minute song - "So Love May Find Us" which wasn't on Untitled #23, but it was so out there I thought! 8D And then I went out and got Untitled #23 and found a whole swag of other songs which were a bit different, though I enjoyed most of them as well.
