I'm am sooo the wrong person to ask about saving. My biggest resolution for this year is to learn how to save and do it succesfully. So basically.. I spend all my money on cute things and am super broke all the time! Sorry, having a boyfriend helps because you won't be spending money on food and also I try to only buy one "cute thing" per pay check.. it helps a LITTLE
