The only time I notice a movie score is when it just doesn't work. Otherwise, eh.

I DO NOT LISTEN TO RADIO STATIONS. Seriously, I don't, and haven't since I went to college. I...don't really like music? I mean, I do, but not in the way that other people seem to. I was really into it as a teenager because we all were and it was important to know who was popular and therefore who I should be hating on (I was "alternative"), but I can really live without music itself. Seriously, my favorite thing to do is to sit in a silent house. When it gets too eerie, I just talk to myself a little bit.
Yeah, I know I'm weird. -
I LOVE roller coasters, and I'm the only person in my family who does. George doesn't like them, either, so I seem to be doomed to live a life that LACKS SUFFICIENT SPEED. Ahem. Um...I don't really have a favorite, cause it's not like I've been in, oh, a DECADE. But when I was in middle school, my chorus class used to go to Bush Gardens every year, and I really enjoyed this one ride called the Alpengeist because it spun you in like every conceivable direction and made you piss your pants with fear. I also really liked the Loch Ness Monster ride there, because in the eighth grade I had these really horrible contacts that reacted badly with my dry eyes and I forgot my eye drops. Loch Ness is a water ride that sends up this huge mist, so I rode that thing three times, leaving my eyes open and letting them rehydrate. I was the most uncomfortable panda ever, except when I was on that ride.

Honestly, it's kind of lost in the mists of time...I know that during my freshman year of college, I got REALLY into coming up with horrible names for my potential children. Like, I decided I wanted to have three kids and name one of them Juanita Butterfield Signorile (Juanita Butterfield was a friend's relative's name, and I thought it was HILARIOUS). The boy was going to be Elijah Godsick Signorile (Godsick was a real surname I saw in the end-credits of Broke Arrow [don't judge]). Talulah Mankiller was the pairing up of the world's most AWESOME last name (I'd heard of Wilma Mankiller by that point), and a random first name I found hilarious.
I remember announcing my intentions to a class at one point, clearly as a joke, and this one kid pissed all over my parade and snotted about how my kids were going to hate me. And I was all, "It was a joke, DUH," but as the years went by, it...kind of stopped being one. I YEARNED to name someone Talulah Mankiller. My mom was like, "Name a cat that! Oh, for the love of god, not my grandbaby!" But naming a non-human just didn't cut it, and also, I have never met a cat who was a Talulah, sorry. So in the end, I decided to name myself Mankiller. I think it's worked out pretty well so far... -

I hate road trips. You cannot conceive how much I hate road trips. 4 years of living 7 hours away from your parents' house? WILL MAKE YOU HATE ROAD TRIPS LIKE WOAH. So, um, let's skip this question.

Kraft mac and cheese. And yes, it's very, VERY different now!

I'd be the drunken ring-tosser who is popular solely because she's so obviously blotto and keeps missing the target.

Yorkshire pudding. Man, I loved that shit, even though there was never enough to go round. Okay, ESPECIALLY because there was never enough to go around...

Oh, jeez...well, this is mean, but La Lohan didn't have much talent before the drugs got to her. She had charm and she was cute, but she couldn't act for shit. I didn't notice, myself, because I'm not a good judge of these things, but I watched Mean Girls with a drama major friends once and she was like, "Oh, she's Disney-acting."
"What the hell does that mean?" I asked.
"She doesn't actually act, she just pauses and takes a deep breath a lot to seem meaningful."
And lo, she was right. And lo, La Lohan cannot act. -
My life has been full of many, many kindnesses, but most recently? A reader bought me a professionally-made masthead. Now THAT was kind, to me and to everyone who was tired of seeing my efforts in photoshop.

Currently, I am rejecting the tyranny of shoes and going BAREFOOT! Earlier in the day, though, I was wearing knee-high, four-inch black boots. Because that just screams PROFESSIONALISM.

Somewhere with lots of trees and lots of people to clean up after me.

I have not read her! I vaguely remember hearing good things about "Feeling Sorry for Celia," but I think that was back when I didn't have regular access to a library, so nothing came of it. On the strength of your recommendation I've put some of her books on hold, and hopefully I'll be able to get to them soon (I say "hopefully" because I'm currently at the limit of books I can check out. HARDCORE NERDERY). Thanks for the suggestion!
