Actually, this story begins 2 years ago.
I never minded humane methods of killing for food. But big manufacturers *cough McDonalds* are so disgusting & cruel to the animals. Society frustrates me.
However, I was pushed off the edge when I went to Yellowstone & wild animals were adorable wandering around the parking lot. Also when I watched LOST season 3... the Others locked our heroes into the animal cages! I remember thinking "dear god, why are they being treated like animals?! I hope they don't get eaten!" --> "I don't want to eat them. I don't want to eat animals." --> VEGETARIAN.
I was just gonna try it out & see how it goes, but still going strong! WHOOO!

I live in Iowa. I guess we'll hit up HyVee (open 24/7, ahhh!), Middle Park (walk along the woodsy bike path, wade in the water, use slides, feed ducks), and Whitey's (ice cream). If it was an all-day tour, I'd just take everyone the four hours to admire Chicago. Considerably more enjoyable for tourists.

Three-way tie: dedicating myself to something, confusing people, and having fun.

Almost impossible! (I had to return to the beginning and say I'm so sorry for writing so much! The words & emotions & memories & everything just came pouring out. Feel free to only read the first line of each bullet. Or something.)
1. Walking into WWoHP for the first time, especially to ride the FORBIDDEN JOURNEY at Hogwarts (coolest ride ever! wayyyy above my expectations) and drink butterbeer that night. Mmmm. I was also amazed to see everything work out-- we had time to do everything we wanted during our stay at Universal and look at the amazingg details in the shops, etc!
2. Both wizard rock concerts!! I belted out the words to every MoM and TRL song and honestly thought it would be impossible for anyone to ever top that night! I had always dreamed of attending a live MoM concert, but I even caught their megaphone!! Let out the highest, most embarassing, girly scream as soon as I caught it. AHHH! Still so happy and of course got it signed! Then it was as if everyone teamed up to break Alex & I hope he's had the time of his life! Chanting "one more song" with everyone gave mME chills, so I can't imagine what he felt like! Then the next night I was again amazed :) Our fandom is absolutely incredible. The HatP songs were epic, but WW were also just as fantastic! I kept getting lucky and hearing my favorite songs so that was nice! The feeling of community is so strong... words do no justice. During The Weapon and [We're wizards! We'll party forever! This night will never die!], I gladly started swaying with whoever was around me and ended up forming a giant small circle around our area! Thank you, wrockers <33.
3. Seeing, meeting, and talking to fandom people! Alex Carpenter gives the best hugs and he's kind of the best person ever, ahhhh! I got two hugs from him & I know I will never receive better. So welcoming & warm & cuddly & awesome!! He was actually the first hug I received at the conference, RIGHT after opening ceremonies. LOVEEE HIM! And to think I fell even more in love after last week... Also, I talked to Andrew Sims at Open at the Close about his podcasts and at the end he said "no problem, thanks for listening" which was unbelievable because I've heard him say that SO MANY TIMES on my ipod, but never irl! Sammy G was adorabley excited when I asked for an autograph and drew me a cute Harry Potter guy! I talked to Jason Munday three times and he's such a genuine guy! Then I talked to Ryan Seiler ("Baby Watermelon" anyone?), whooo! Aslo Sarah Snitch/Sterling was incredibly nice! I felt bad because she was working merch and John Noe was there, but how many chances was I going to get like that? There's so many more things I wish I could have said to the both of them but they're all awesome! Sarah told me her Disneyworld plans & I was happy to later found out they succeeded! Also Lauren Fairweather was so genuinely excited after wrock night #2. She said that she still couldn't believe what had just happened and how amazingg this place is. OH and Hank Green told HatP that he made a mess (while I was getting an autograph) so I said "yes, but quite a lovely mess!" Then Hank AGREED with me! "Yes, a lovely mess." :)
4. Both photobooth events. For Starkid, they stopped the line so that it was a couple and then us to go onto stage first! I walked right up to Darren Criss and he said "I don't have time to hug everyone." My response? "That's okay!" *hug* :D Then I walked up to Brian Rosenthal and asked to sit... so he scooted over and motioned for me to SHARE A SEAT WITH BRIAN ROSENTHAL! Next to Joe Walker! I put my arm around Brian (may or may not be my favorite Starkid :D...) and then went back to the Subway photo theme. Then gave him a hug, Joe Walker a hug, and someone in the back row a high five. All a blur. Still feeling blessed <33.Then for the actors' photobooth, they stopped the line directly infront of us! I walked right to Evanna (told no hugs) and told her she's my role model. She said "aww thanks, you're so sweet." THEN turned to Chris Rankin and said "Now that's Hermione hair!!" I was all flabbergasted & ridiculous but got my point across. If that wasn't enough, for the picture I was sitting on the ground and I felt a hand on my shoulder. Evanna Lynch's hand. On my shoulder. Ahhh!
5. THE BALL. Although I spent a lot of time 120% pissed at one group of girls who decided they were special enough to kneel & stand on the middle of the stage so that less than half of the fans could see (and refused to acknowledge the polite requests from various people asking them to at least get off the stairs when starts like Evanna came through), I enjoyed it soooo much! By far, the most fun I've ever had at a dance. Beats all the stupid high school stuff we have! BEST MUSIC EVER. AND BEST DANCERS. Within the first half hour, a group of youtubers/fandom people came dancing right in between us! I didn't mind at all, but they didn't exactly realize that by bursting onto the dance floor they separated two sisters I was with & that caused some small complications. Then for a song I was FIST BUMPING WITH NICK LANG! So beautiful. Then I was dancing right behind/with Kristina Horner! Then we inched away to high five the four little Potter kids dancing through the crowd! I danced with Joe DeGeorge, of HatP with a circle around us! I gave so many high fives to the stars, unbelievable. I helped BRIAN ROSENTHAL CROWD SURF :D after high-fiving Evanna! Best video ever. When Don't Stop Believing came on, I enjoyed singing that with all the stars/people onstage! Even though I'm not sure if Jason could see me, I felt like he & I were the only ones on our side [attempting to] belt out Alex's "Dumbledore" parody! It felt so magical, but I was surprised that nobody else seemed to know it. Jason is SO AMAZINGG live! Total Eclipse of the Heart was epiiiic as it always seems to be! Then afterwards I joined the other circle to chant "LeakyCon", "speech", etc. Then we sang "The Weapon."
All in all, such a wonderful experience. I am forever thankful for everyone that helped make this my best week... staff, wrockers, podcasters, nerdfighters, friends, family, chaperones, stars, the list never really ends. I'm so glad I could go to a fan conference in general, and that LC11 was THE one. I look forward to more!

Excited for everything, haha!! It'll be amazingg to go to a real wrock concert & watch Finding Hogwarts & meet people & see the theme park!

Nope! Like you, this will be my first :) which makes me VERY nervous but even more excited!

I just cannot wait for wrock because I've never been to a real life concert!! Also to see Wizarding World because I have yet to explore the park!

Honesty. the ability to laugh & have fun.

Favorite ship is probably Ron/Hermione. I can't help but love cannon... but I'm also a huge sucker for Lily/Snape. (after watching AVPM, I ship Quirrel & Voldy though!)
Least favorite ship is Snape/Hermione. Or any of those creepy out-of-line ships, haha.
YESSSS I'm excited! I know it won't live up to expectations or resemble the book, but I also look forward to new things in the fandom. Also, I'm interested to see how the movie portrays the Capitol, characters, etc!

In a perfect world, it would be growing just as strong as it is now. All the podcasts would continue, and JKR would have released her encyclopedia.
Realistically, I dunno. All I can say is that I'll ALWAYS love Harry Potter, and stay up-to-date on whatever news/fans/wrock/podcasts/friends that remain. Hopefully they'll be a lot :D. Harry Potter may fade out of pop culture, but not out of us!

Jason Munday. I'd kill for his voice or his body. To have both? Priceless :) Plus, I'd get to live in the coolest of all cool Echo Base, and make music videos with awesome guys at the playground. Win win win!
