The majority of the trip I was by myself. I stayed with my family for 3 weeks but essentially, was by myself.
The 4th week was spent with a Sydney friend who was also in California. We did the first half of my SF stay, Vegas and LA together.
My final week was all myself. I have a friend who lives in SF who was kind enough to take me around every single day, so I didn't find myself getting too lost.
The entire experience was by far the most rewarding thing I've ever done. I can't express how amazing the trip was in words. Travelling yourself is something you must experience while you are still young. I cannot wait to do it all over again, possibly for a longer period of time (2-3 months). -
Unfortunately I don't. I haven't ever used a whitening cream for my face. I suggest looking up reviews on makeupalley.com. It may be a good place to look for products and also read up on reviews from other users.

I had a LOT more than fun! I am already saving in anticipating of my next big US adventure! :)

Most days I stick to my Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturiser in Sand. But if I need a more heavier coverage I use Revlon's New Complexion in Beige.
-
I definitely do! :)
I'm a tad out of shape after being out of the studio for 6 weeks. But I recently went back in to finalise my work availabilities :)
You'll be seeing me around in the not too distant future! -
I don't understand why the letter C is so special. You're neglecting the other 25 letters of the alphabet :(
-
I spent way too much for me to disclose here :(
I haven't even told my parents the true amount. -
LOL. Okay. I work hard and save even harder. Don't post things like this as if you know me. I worked three jobs just prior to leaving for my trip. I saved what I made and lived off scraps for a month.
I paid for flights & accommodation. Spending was everything that I had saved or received as gifts. Keep in mind that I hadn't seen my extended family in YEARS so I had accumulated quite a lot of birthday, Christmas & CNY money. I just happened to receive it as a lump sum when I arrived & am forever grateful for that.
The ONLY thing my parents paid for was my travel insurance, which was barely anything.
You want to live the good life and stay at fancy hotels and shop at designer stores? Well work hard and save your money. It's what I had to do. It's what anyone with half a brain would do. -
I'm getting back into it slowly. The year has been crazy thus far with parties, travels & graduate program applications all crammed into 3 months!
-
I saved a good $5000 for this trip (not incl. flights).
-
Ha! Seeing as we're into the third month of the new year, I am very late.
But I had a couple parties lined up for new years & spent most of the time at a friends house celebrating Hawaiian style! :) -
Oh well it doesn't take a genius to work out that this response is ridiculously delayed! I can't even remember what I received for Christmas :(
But I had a ball of a time with family & friends -
The bride had her make up done by a professional make up artist.
The bridesmaids and I did our own hair and make up! =) -
Hehe, thanks!
And yes, my date scrubbed up quite well, if I do say so myself! ;) -
Awww thanks!!!!
Yes, I had SOOO much fun at the wedding. I didn't even realise that I was tired until we had an hour in between the ceremony and the reception. But once we got to the reception, the adrenaline started buzzing again and my friends & I were having a ball of a time! (:
