in this case,it's a good training to try translating the lyrics into English :)
Some French songs are kinda repetitive ( hmm looks like a lack of inspiration somehow xD ) so it's easy to start with these ones? (I could link you to some if u want even if not all are my style btw LOL and not that I'm saying that "easy" songs are bad!)

and also you could write me some love letters in French from time to time ^__~ I'm not a teacher nor an expert in grammar/vocabulary but I could help you with the use or non-use of some expressions/verbs/etc in daily life...
and just to say that it feels akward that more and more (when I'm not careful) some English words appear in my conversations LOL (e.g: random, even if the words "randomisation" and "randomisé" exist now in French, but when you are talking abt some important thing w/ people u just happened to work with... o.O = their reaction hahaha) -
Be proud of you!! ^^ I felt the same thing when I was able to read some short novels in English class before ;D
and btw that's a so nice book ^^ it reminds me my junior years LOL yeah I've become kinda "illiterate" since I graduated from High school... kinda shameful to not taking the time to read novels actually compared to before... as time goes by, I feel like "stucking" in the ~world~ of my studies bc of the pressure (fact that most of students of my promotion are in the same case XD) ....and kpop/jpop being the breath of oxygen atm (like others relieve their stress w/ cigarets or alcohol LOL)... well in fact, I need more various activities to change my mind! I wanted to learn a new language but it takes a lot of time to me bc my brain is not as much alert as it was before hahaha...

Last time I really read a book (aka "Les yeux jaunes des crocodiles" by Katherine Pancol) was during last summer when I was travelling xP it helped me to "kill the time" in the TGV hahaha
but I think I ddl-ed some English novels hmmm where in the world did I put them? ... (but there's no comparison between reading a book onto a screen and turning the pages of a book hehehe maybe this is why I just put them in some random folder :P ) /goes look for them -
frooooooozen! LOL not at this point but not very far hahaha ... yes winter is coming but it's rarely snowing where I live and maybe this event would more happen in the end of January...
what I have to be more careful abt is the rain, it's raining non stop since 2 weeks... sometimes it's heavy rain, other times not so much but going out w/o an umbrella in your bag actually would be a big mistake >.> ROFL and also I have to watch carefully where I walk bc people could slip easily bc of rain+leaves.... it could look like something obvious in some way but I know people who hv to go to ER after this kind of accident (while "rollerblading" or driving scooters,...) .... -____-
at least, all this will have a good effect on the groundwater level hahahaha -
for the pronunciation, watching French channels on TV if you hv access to them on the cable? or watching French movies in VOST or even VO?
it's also okay to listen to French songs with the lyrics but just beware of slangs which could confuse you even more at the beginning like in rap or rnb songs etc xD
books are helpful to improve your vocabulary if there is a section for French litterature in your Uni's library? -
my schedule is changing starting from Nov. bc some new courses would start and people who had that the past 2 months said the courses are the hardest for this semester :S so not encouraging at all... bc i've still not finished to study all the previous courses... TT.TT ... *boo me*
My exams for this semester will be on early January. -
Hiiiii! i've just recovered from an annoying flu... it wasn't one with high fever but those ones when i kept coughing all day & night long... very tiring...
Now I feel better but i miss already the big "summer sunlights" during the mornings... every time i find a spot of sunlight in the uni area, i go there to warm myself LOL bc the study halls aren't warm... and there's only one library which is always full of students... the other warmest place in the area is the hospital but i can't stay there to study xDDD -

yes it's getting more and more cold but the worst days are when it poured w/ lots of winds but that's occasionnally fortunately :( I count on you to send me some warm waves then ;D

oooohh fishtail braid are sooooo lovely!!! I find it gives some charming and romantic look :)
This past summer I always wore a side fishtail braid!! I learned doing it just few months bc i thought it was something really hard to do before XDDD
did u try to make a bun?
I think I will let my hair grow till the "boob length" like you just to be able to redo the braid again, but not as long as before because it took me some much time before to take care of them :S
One advantage of having shorter hair is the time I spend on mornings for shampoo/conditionner/blowdry is now divide by 3~4 LOL -
IKR! during junior high school I always had a bob haircut bc my parents found better this kind of hairstyle.... :( but my hair has a lot of volume so it could sometimes appear kinda weird after each shampoo... like a mushroom?... :|

oh same habits abt getting rid of split ends in the bathroom!! hahaha
it seems I'm luckier tho bc my mum lets me do what i want concerning my hair (e.g: dying my hair before in brown reddish) bc i know some friends who have to ask beforehand when they want to get it dye, she's more reluctant when it concerned my body like for piercings XDDD -
compared to before, it's shorter... it reaches my shoulder now but before it was around my waist... my bff didn't see me because she is still overseas but when she'll be back here next week, I think she'll be more shocked than me hahahaha I didn't tell her by phone bc I think it would take at least 1 hour to explain why I chopped it off ... LMAO

actually the non Asian songs I listened during the past months were Maroon 5 songs, Eminem/Rihanna duet, various DJs songs, Amazing by Inna (this one bc in every place I was shopping during summer , they put this song as bgm LMAO it's like brainwashing in the end xD)
but I'm so anticipating for the solo single "Love Lives" that Steven Tyler will release in November and it's the OST song for KimuTaku's movie !!!

I'm back at Uni since a month and things are slowly getting harder (more courses, more applications, less free time).... well it's sort of that now we get to apply what we learned and are still learning in the "real" life LOL... not so easy to make the first step towards people irl or propose something when you hv a professor who judge you from behind xD ... but well, we're here to learn from our mistakes... even it's always not pleasant to be told that we learned something in the wrong way xD.... and also one "sad" thing of having less free time is that I can' t hv the same fangirl life as before ROFL I hv to choose whether group to follow in Kpop and Jpop...
(btw, as Arashi releases a single like each month and with each member's solo activity it's more like I could only follow them for Jpop updates HAHAHAHA but I have hopes for NEWS since they will release a single next month... finally a new one after Sakura girl! ^^).
Only things I'm not laggin are KHJ (and more and less 501 news) updates (*grins*) ...
I'm more worried abt how to adjust my planning when BB will make their comeback and to follow all that promotion then...... ah foolish me >.>
I love the hairstyle Bom had in MuBank yesterday... /bow bias XDD ... it made me regret a bit my long hair ( hopped off 25 cm last month)... not easy to reproduce the same hairstyle now hahaha -
well, I had a delay of 15 days to be given a refund or for exchanging in that store. I returned it the day after I got it so it was ok.
However, as I've opened the box, they couldn't refund me cash directly but gave me an exchange coupon to buy something else with...
Only thing that sucked is that I wanted to buy the old nano 5G with the coupon but couldn't in the end because it was out of stock! so disappointed :(
so I'm thinking using it by ordering the new itouch... but when i read comparisons of it with the iphone 4, I keep wondering if it would worth the price...
good points: camera, thinner, lighter, works with facetime
bad points: no gps, no flash so quality of pix is so-so (but quality of videos is good)
hmmm dilemna...
(the ipad is interesting but i'll wait for a future version of it whose battery could be replace... bc it would suck to throw away your ipad when the battery would die in 2-3 years... :(( )
