You're finally going to Mars for a few months to start preliminary work designing the embryonic infrastructure of the first city. Everyone is excited to see what you come up with. You can only bring collected works of 5 musical artists for inspiration.
Schmowzow! A dream come true. Dr. Quandary, for sure. Shpongle seems like a necessity as well. After that it gets a little trickier. I'm liable to say Clutch, because of big-name bands they're easily my favorite; but I'm not sure if that'd be the kind of inspiration I would be looking for, for this project. Buuuut they are one of my main "getting things done" bands so, yeah, Clutch. Then... probably something like Beats Antique, because I'd definitely want that WUBWUBWUB mixed with the world music thing they have going on. For the last one... hm hm hm hm hm. Maybe HipGnosis, he seems like a good pick for designing Martian cities.
