i'm trying to be a buddhist, its not as easy as saying " i'm a buddhist" ie you cant be " baptised" and automatically one. i find it very hard. i think you should treat people the best way you can possibly do. equanimity is the way forward, try and live a virtuous life?? Thats about it, don't spend too much time " worshipping" a god there are more constructive things you can do...also, this whole " religion/war" thing, if people didnt fight over religion, they would fight over something else, it's just human nature so i despise it when people blame religion for war. There are a lot of good things religion does, I often think some atheists ( richard dawkins) are far too extremist and fundamentalist, if it pleases people going to church and having hope and faith leave them be. I love science as much as dawkins but i'm not gonna go inflict it on people to convince them that religion is bad, i think religion can help people in ways science can't. DEEEEEEEEEP, but you asked.
