You didn't give me any ideals to choose from. Success, fame, fortune, love, generosity, repentance, servitude. There are so many, without knowing which in particular you were thinking of I can't really answer your question. However, I will tell you what ideals I, personally, live my life based upon.
When I was very young my mother told me I wasn't better than anyone else in this world. It took me some time to realize what this really meant. Everyone has faults and everyone has demons. We are creatures of habit in endless shapes and forms. We build up weaknesses, we build up strengths, and we tear each down with the days as they pass. One person can be exceptionally good at one thing, and exceptionally bad at another. That doesn't make them any less valuable than the person next to them. Everyone has a story to share, and everyone has something to contribute. Sure, look down on someone who can't understand the simplest concept of social interaction. Sure, look down upon someone who isn't as intelligent as you. Sure, look down upon someone who is brash, obnoxious or even lazy. At the end of the day you are the arrogant one, you are the one judging another person, you are the one who is least among the rest.

In life's great chase for happiness, I do not live for money or fame. I want love, and that is all. Some people cannot be happy without a secured financial future, or a tried and tested history of education. I will do fine with nothing as long as I have a companion who is just as comfortable - because you know what? Everything in the world doesn't weigh as much as having someone you can truly live and die with.

I'm not sure. The name seems really clever for some reason, guess I'm just not clever enough myself to understand it.

I have. But I'd much prefer regeneration. The ability to outlast everything, to rebuild, to function and exist even when inherently damaged is beyond amazing. I would probably sit around cutting my fingers off all day and mailing them to people. You know, cause a scare.

I would definitely need to have sex with someone. I mean, what else? If I retained my mind, my awareness, my sense of self, then I would be no different mentally. The physical aspect is the intriguing one.

Frankly, I have a good feeling I'd be a slut.

Haha, I appreciate it, but I'm not sure what you mean exactly. There are a lot of things I dgaf about, but there are also a lot of things I would proudly die for.

Therein lies your purpose, to find a solution to your pain.
There is joy in everything, you're just unable to see it because you are so focused on what you don't have. Do things, aimlessly. One time you will find you are overjoyed by something, anything, and then whatever it is keep doing it.

As long as it's not heroin.

I'd go back to see if there truly was an Eden. Not for any religious purpose, but because it was supposedly the most beautiful place on Earth. I would like to witness nature at it's finest.

To people? To life? To your own emotion? This is a vague question, albeit purposely. Reconnection is not simple, and in most cases those who disconnect tend to retreat, introvert, and isolate. Your task is one of weight and balance. How important is it for you to empathize, to feel and interact with others? Is this something that you want, or something you feel you should have? People function well without the ability to "connect," although technically you would be a psychopath. A Sociopath, in most cases, as you tend to fabricate your emotions as a means of manipulation.

Your first step is removing the mask, and identify with someone. This is the hardest, as many people in this state of mind cannot identify with another. Keep looking, and you will connect.

So start living, one must first define it. You are breathing, are you not? Then the fundamentals have been covered.
The graver issue is your situation. I imagine that you feel trapped, it is the only conclusion one may come to with this question. But what is really trapping you, your perceived obligation or your own want of need? I would say that any decision is made for the betterment of yourself, not for the preservation of another.
In short; you live when you decide to live.

There are countless impressive minds throughout history, some dangerous, some brilliant. The most intriguing are the ones who have caused the most damage to the world, because logically, they themselves are the most damaged. It only follows that one would want to surmise the nature of their damage, to understand it would be to correct it. So it isn't any one person necessarily, more like the collective entity that is our most dangerous minds.

That's not an easy question to answer because it is highly circumstantial. Say I don't know the person - I'd be flattered, but be honest with them and tell them they're jumping the gun a bit. If I know them well, and we click well, then that would be great news and my first thought would probably be that I love them as well.

To follow my dreams. Upon waking they are lost on me, or never existed to begin with. To follow them would be to do nothing.
