I play a ton of card games. Blackjack, poker, rummy, war, and when I'm with my dorky college friends, I borrow one of their decks and play YuGiOh with them.

I think the voice is much better than the XFactor or American Idol simply because it isn't about embarrassing people who can't sing. It's also toned down on the melodrama that isn't necessary for a sing competition.

As for why America is hungry for fame, its not just America. It's most first world nations. Fame means that everyone will know you so even after your death, you're still here, in a sense.
