Hi Natalie - Will drop you an email now to discuss. Kind regards, Lorraine

Hi Greg
5 may be a bit young for boys, I'd have to see him for a quick chat to see if he'd manage a 15-minute lesson. I only teach from home, no visits, sorry. Email me if you are interested in pencilling in some lessons in August: lorraine.liyanage@mac.com -
I accept pupils from age 4+. We have nearly finished this academic year, so if you would like to enrol her from September onwards, then please email me: lorraine.liyanage@mac.com
-
Thanks for getting in touch. This school term is nearly finished, but once I am putting together my timetable, I am sure I will have a space for your daughter. I will email you now. Kind regards, Lorraine
-
Hi David, I will send you a text now with the following information. A 30 minute lesson is £20. Please email to arrange a lesson. lorraine.liyanage@mac.com Kind regards, Lorraine
-
Thanks for the message, I have just contacted you. Please email me to arrange a lesson. Kind regards, Lorraine

It depends on how much time you have available to practice. Some adults come weekly for half an hour, others come fortnightly for an hour. I have slots in the day before 2pm or later in the evening, around 8.00pm, but you'd need to email me to discuss.
-
Hi Frances, thank you for getting in touch. I could only teach in your house during the daytime. In the afternoon and evening, I am back to back with pupils so wouldn't be able to come to you. If Monday, Wednesday or Friday daytime suit you, I'd be happy to come over. Drop me an email to discuss: lorraine.liyanage@mac.com

Thanks for getting in touch, I have sent you an email. I accept pupils from age 4, so your daughter is a good age to start learning.
-
Yes of course. The only space I have is Fridays at 6.45pm, is this too late?
-
I couldn't pick one favourite piece to play, but I do really love these pieces:
"Tides" by Nitin Sawhney (Youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEWSBEdlVbo )
"Fast zu Ernst" by Schumann ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5AY-Qha18M&feature=related )
I've not quite given up on this, but I've yet to properly Ravel's L'Ondine. This was one of the first pieces I played at music college but it was pretty fiendish and I never was quite happy with my final performance of it in my diploma exam. -
Hi Jane, I'll see you on Sunday to discuss. Can you drop me an email as well so that I have your email address. I have a 6.30 slot on Fridays at the moment. I can do a lesson for you at 2pm on alternate Fridays or 2.30pm if you would like a weekly lesson.

Hi Kate
I offer younger pupils a 15 minute lesson, I find this is the right amount of time for keeping them focussed at a young age. We move onto a longer half hour lesson when they are about 5 and a half. Do drop me an email if you'd like to book a session. lorraine.liyanage@mac.com -
I teach Mondays to Fridays from 9am - 9pm.

Yes I teach many adults learning a wide range of music in many styles. Current pupils are learning to play Bob Dylan, Ludovico Einaudi, Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave and many other songs. I also have adult pupils working towards their graded exams.
-
I offer 15 minute lessons for younger children and we combine practical music playing with fun music games to develop their theoretical musical knowledge.
-
I run a busy teaching practice from my home so am unable to travel at the moment. Please do get in touch if East Dulwich is a convenient location for you.
