From a patient-doctor point of view; I'd actually be very uncomfortable with this. He had a professional life dealing with people in a way in his professional world. He had a family which was separate. To bring those together feels like it would compromise both.

Well, gosh. Thanks. That's nice. I wish it weren't anonymous. But hey... A compliment is a compliment.

I wish there were a stunning magickal answer here. Sadly, there isn't. It's like finding someone else for a relationship. You just go in prepared to make sure they know that first, "You are happily married" and that second, "This isn't some covert affair."
Now what makes this difficult without all the other standard complications of 'finding a relationship' is that pretty much no two polyamourists use the same set of definitions. So, the general rule is just be honest.
For example, I am not trolling for someone to date "us." I view each relationship as its own entity. There are definitely priorities. For example I have my 'primary' partner. Sadly at the moment, that equates to my toddler who doesn't understand time management, boundaries, and his communication leaves something to be desired.
As for how I find someone... I've tried the dating sites... That has yielded minimal success. I do not like the fact that I have to take the initiative and hope that my initial contact gives that sparkling first impression. I have discovered that I do better communicating with someone over time before setting up the first date.
Translation, I like to know someone better than superficially before I ask them out.
Oh, and Geek2Geek.com really isn't that great.
Shrug. -
So, for starters to answer this we need to clarify if this is a standard simple "or" or a binary "Exclusive or" (XOR)... For Cryo truly has his moments of greatness, but is also undeniably "What?"
As a result in an XOR situation; the simple answer to "Is Cryo great or what?" would logically have to be No. -
I'l start with this link: http://tr.im/NeDY
My favourite answer would probably be:
Using the formula: (W + I) * C where W = the constant of wood, which is well known to be 61, as agreed in many scientific circles. I = the variable in this equation, and stands for the word "if" from the original problem. As there are three circumstances, with 0 equaling the chance that the woodchuck cannot chuck wood, 1 being the theory that the woodchuck can chuck wood but chooses not to, and 2 standing for the probability that the woodchuck can and will chuck wood, we clearly must choose 2 for use in this equation. C = the constant of Chuck Norris, whose presence in any problem involving the word chuck must there, is well known to equal 1.1 of any known being, therefore the final part of this calculation is 1.1. As is clear, this appears to give the answer of (61 + 2) * 1.1 = (63) * 1.1 = 69.3 units of wood. -
I'm going to try to avoid the debate over whether Poker is a sport or not. Though I greatly enjoy it. I'm sort of on a downswing from it at the moment because I've been having a really horrid run of lousy game play coupled with a lack of desire to play due to my lack of regular income.
When it comes to football, I will always be a Pittsburgh Steelers fan regardless of how they play. This is amusing because like other geek kids; I abhoured the game in High School because I hated everything that the class system it generated stood for. Now I'm far more mellow.
When it comes to the olympics, I'm kinda spread all over the place. I enjoy watching Speed Skating. I think my hero growing up was Eric Heiden.
More if I think about it. -
Honestly, I really don't wish to die. I often joke about immortality. One one side I have the theory that God is just trying to work out the ethical kinks and then humanity will stop dying. On the other, I often kid that I am immortal and that nobody will ever be able to prove me incorrect.
I'm not fond of the Immortality is a curse perception put forth in most fiction. I am however greatly fond of the "Hob Gadling" character as created by Neil Gaiman in the Sandman Series. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hob_Gadling

Geek. Mac Geek. Doctor Who Geek. Theatre Geek. Developer Geek. Football Geek. But theoretically cute and I know how to use soap so that I don't offend at cons. And yes, I am a $&o* enthusiast.
