aw haha thank you! i used to take ALL my self portraits with the self timer and just make sure i got everything i knew i needed to do in ten frames down. even in my last three uploads on flickr i was just using self timer. it's an awesome excersize running back and forth. :P. if you didn't know, the rebel xs can't use a wireless remote which is what mostly all photographers on flickr and such are using now, so we're kind of out of luck. i did buy a wired remote to connect directly to my camera, but it's about 7 inches long and really doesn't help me and my style of photographs. i hope that helps!

i'll have it posted in about ten minutes in a new post, x.
if you have any more questions about what i did i'll post a tutorial or something.

i think all the photographers i follow on flickr inspire me in their own ways. typically my inspiration is hugely based on alex stoddard or brooke shaden. but lately i've kinda just been going at it on my own.

i taught myself photoshop after gruesome gruesome hours staring at the computer screen. but i have had some advice from friends about certain tricks and tips, and also google did become my bestfriend for awhile. i don't really know what you mean about "where to go", honestly if you have an idea in your head sketch it and make a list of every tiny detail you need to make the photograph successful, and if necessary google a bunch of tutorials to help you.
