im nice on the basis that it might be nice back to me, but it doesnt seem to work like that. perhaps you could say im selfishly motivated in wanting something nice back, but i doubt karma is that complex. basically, if youre nice, people will take advantage of it, and a minority of people are (like me) always trying to be nice, so when you meet one of those people it feels like your karma is rewarding you. otherwise, everyone will exploit your niceness and you will wonder where karma is. what a ramble of nonsense, i dont really know if i believe in it! i would definately like to!

depends what they lied about, if they cheated then they should gtfo, if they were trying not to offend the other person without doing anything wrong then it's fine. but probably better just to stick to the truth. also we're still young, so its probably less serious wether you like that or not, learn from mistakes and move on.
