You know, growing I was told that if you liked certain things you were labeled gay or straight, especially in Mexican culture. I loved Disney princess movies and Easy Bake (and I never got it) but I loved getting dirty in my backyard with dirt and the water hose (making them mud pies...yea I wanted that Easy Bake). Today, I do have 'homosexual tendencies' and whatnot (I mean, my supreme queen is Mariah C and I can do a pretty darn smoky eye) but let's just say it's for me to know and for you to find out.

The main reason why I only tell my close friends my real identity is only because by labeling myself as straight or gay, I am quickly categorized into being a certain person, liking certain things, etc. but I feel that I am who I am and you are who you are. I am a romantic in hiding - I love giving gifts, planning out a date, writing thank you cards whenever I find a reason to, enjoy soft, love ballads, etc. so it's even harder to fully express my desires. But I'll let you in on a little secret, when the sun is down and Valentino Carey comes around, anything goes ;)

One on my arm...trip to San Felipe when I was 10. I wouldn't shut up in the car and my mom sunk her nails on me as a way to get me to be quiet. She told me to tell my Grandma after the trip that I had run into some palm tree. HAHAHA!
