The definition of a theory is something that can be physically tested by and reproduced with observations that ring true repeatedly. However, the science in our textbooks isn't really science at all. It's a delusion. Take for example the geologic time column-a backbone of evolution theory as to how old the earth is. First off, it's not even a theory because it can't be tested. But we'll let them slide on that. Scientists say that multiple different layers are the equivalents to multiple different eras, aka millions of years. When asked in our textbook how they know how old the layers are, they'll tell us that they know based on the artifacts and fossils found there. However, a couple units later, they tell us that we know how old the fossils are based on how old the layers are. That's called circular reasoning. It doesn't conclude any results. Rather, it produces a lie that a few nitwits thought sounded beautiful. You know why? Because they didn't want to take a "creation" and say there was a "creator". Why's that? I don't know. Maybe they've got a sin problem. It'd be my best bet anyways. They can't bring themselves to own up to something. But anyways. Another example. In our textbooks we are told that we have these little things called "vestigial structures". Vestigial structures are structures that used to be needed for an organism's survival but no longer are because they have evolved to no longer need it. That's stupid. The basis for evolution is gaining. That's losing, not gaining. They tell us that we have a vestigial tail bone area where we used to have a tail. Do you know just how useful a tail could be while driving??? You could do all kinds of stuff with that sucker! They'll tell you that your pancreas is a vestigial structure. That is a lie. Your pancreas is a vital part of your immune system. You can live without it, but you'll be far more likely to get certain diseases if you don't have it than if you do. That's like saying a man's hand is a vestigial structure. "Yes, boys and girls you can live without your hand. It is a vestigial structure." Well sure ya can, but you won't be able to grab things! See how stupid that is? And that's because evolution is built on a whole bunch of stupid. Romans 1 talks about how when a man chooses to ignore God, he is given over to his own vain imaginations, and thinking himself wise he will become a fool. That's evolution modern day. See, whenever man creates something, it will eventually fail. That's why evolution is such a faulty idea. The more faults they find, the farther back evolutionists will have to say the earth started so that they can fall back on themselves. The example I gave you above are merely a few. There's plenty more from a brilliant scientist named Kent Hovind that you can find all over youtube. He'll defend Christianity too. Definitely does a better job of it then me. And if you like the idea of science, you will certainly enjoy his theories. Interesting stuff. But what I'm trying to show you is this. Evolution is not science. I know that you believe in evolution. There are only two worldviews: (G)god or evolution. You have to choose one. God is scientific. A creator created. Like a watchmaker making a watch. Evolution is not science. Evolution is the folly of man running from Jesus. I don't know why they'd want to run from that love and forgiveness, as do you, but they do. Evolution states that in the beginning, nothing exploded and created everything. It avoids the fact that some things need each other to survive. Haha, which thing evolved first? How does Hydrogen by itself make Uranium? Interesting questions like that. Simple answer. I'm sure you already know it. Still, I wish you would quit this tirade. A complex world demands a complex God. A God that we can know, but should we try and become Him by creating our own religion...evolution? No! Of course not! God's first commandment is that thou shalt have no other gods before me. Don't be fooled my friend. Evolution is the religion. God is not a "religion". God is the creator of science. God is truth. I'm sure you have a Bible in your house. Check out John 14:6.

Hitler once said, "Give me the textbooks and I will control the nation". Or rather, something along those lines. Evolution is a propaganda. You see, Hitler was an evolutionist. The funny thing about evolution is that if you believe it, you have to believe that one racial group is better than the other and deserves to rule. Survival of the fittest after all. Whatever that means. If a shark runs through a group of fish and eats half of them, that's not survival of the fittest. That's survival of the luckiest. Rather, more likely, the unfittest. Big shark likes big food after all. No, under God's rule all races are equal because all men are created in His image. How they represent that image is up to them.

Please be aware, I have no respect for tolerance. I have respect for respect where it is due, and in some circumstances to holding one's tongue where feelings might be hurt. But tolerance, especially around important issues, really just tells the students to not believe that anything is true or holds true meaning. Because if you are tolerant enough to not share your beliefs, even if you know that they are right, then you are truly evil for not wanting others to know the only truth.

Finally, brother. You are a brother, yes? Know that criticism doesn't stop me. I am ashamed that this has to carry on on here. I wish you would talk to me in person. It's not that bad, no, not that scary. I won't embarrass you. I won't do anything to lessen your reputation or honor, whatever it may be. But so long as you use a site like this to continue pity stabs at me, you are still a boy. And I know you want to be a man. So man up. My phone number is 980-228-0413. I would love a little lunch over the break. You can give your arguments and we can approach them however you want. Then, I will give you the Bible. Please, consider it.

Also, I do have two more things for you.

One, forget the church for a second. Trying to condemn a whole body will never work for you. Galileo was a Bible study-er, whether he was a Christian or not I don't know, regardless Galileo studied the Book of Isaiah where the Lord speaks about how He has formed the earth-round. Galileo first assumed his point because of the Bible, then researched into. You see, the Bible is completely scientific. You say, no it's not! Duh it is. God made the world, if anyone knows about "science" He does. Scientists today try to frame this whole debate as "science vs. religion". But that's a lie. It's not at all science verse religion. It's about good science verse bad science. Did you know that only a little while ago evolutionists were saying that the world was only 60,000 years old? As their theories were proved wrong and wrong again, time distance has grown greater and greater because they have nothing to fall back on. Mark my words, by the time you are thirty, assuming Jesus hasn't come back by then, the earth will have be at least "15 billion years old" due to scientists lack of answers, or rather, unfaulty answers.

Two, for the same reason as why Galileo said the earth was round (he read his Bible...), Columbus believed he could sail to the "end of the earth" without ever truly falling off. He read his Bible as well, that is why Columbus had faith in God's promises, even when no one else did.

You see, you can challenge the Bible but you won't find fault. The Bible doesn't have to fall back. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work."

Finally, while I won't say your name here because I fear it will embarrass you, I do plead with you to come talk with me in person. I would love to stay with you after school in the media center and answer all of your questions as best as I can, or otherwise re-direct you. I'm not gonna embarrass you, I'm just gonna love on you as Christ loves me. However, I will not take the initiative. This is up to you as to whether you want to have truth in your life, or whether you would continue to "see through" things. If you have the courage, which you don't need much to talk to me (I'm just a simpleton and a sinner who's loved by Christ), I will show you all that I know and have learned for as long as you would like. Be it days, months, a year or more, I'll have your back. I'll build you up, I'll show you God's purpose for your life. I'll show you how God has made you to be a man. With God, there won't be any boys. When God chases you, you will become a man. A true man. If any guy doesn't want that, he's fooled himself and believed Satan's lie. You see, my friend, God's plan for you is all about love. We twist it. We see love as getting many girls to like us. Girls see it as playing the game with as many admirers as will fancy them. We began to have a sense that twisted appreciation is love, but it's not. God's love is fulfilling, inspiring, and purposeful. I want you to know that personally.

      Nope. I wasn't allowed as a kid and I don't want to, so I just haven't.

    4. Logan Walker

I will not answer this here. Not because I'm not sure of my answer, but because anyone who reads it will twist it in any way. All I will say is that God wills that none should perish. If you truly want to know, be brave and come see me in person.

I disagree with global warming for 3 reasons. Make of them what you will.

      1. The math used by Al Gore to prove global warming in the beginning has been proved faulty numerous times.

      2. If you look at the average temperature of the earth for the last 100 years, we have actually been experiencing a cooling phase.

      3. Genesis 8:22 says, "While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease." This means that God won't let the earth perish until the time He appointed it so in Revelation. We have already established that there is a God just by what we can see around us (Romans 1:18-24), so this is a valid point.

    8. Logan Walker

Let's get things into context. I'm not pushing myself, because there's nothing worth pushing there. I'm pushing the God of the universe.

Hebrews 4:12 says that the Word of the Lord is a sharp, double-edged sword. It pierces to the heart and it interprets thoughts. It does this because in John 1:1 it speaks of the Bible being Jesus. Literally, the book itself IS God. That is why a lot of people don't like it, because they don't like (love) God.

I really wish you'd come talk to me in private. I love formspring because it allows me to answer stuff like this, but there's a point where social contact is far better than attempts that don't show a person. I would love to know who this "We" group is.

I am not in any way offended by your reaction, in fact, I expected it. Course, I don't think offence has anything to do with what is truth. Again, the Bible is truth. I can prove it to you in various ways, however, we'll have to do that in person if you truly want to know.

The reason why you are angry is because I'm making you think. When you think, you realize, to a degree, that you have doubts. That's part of human nature. In fact, we were made that way by God so that we would be drawn to Him, truly the most logical choice once you begin to research for yourself. Now, I would assume you see yourself as an intellectual. So, I would suggest reading "A Ready Defense" by Josh McDowell, and then follow that up with "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis so that you can get a true idea of the logic that exists behind God as He says He is in the Bible. This kind of simple logic doesn't exist in any other religion or other idealism, simply because they're either lies or lacking.

Finally, I will continue to "push my religion" as you have called it. But know this. First, I am not pushing a religion, because religion is a lie, but a relationship, which is absolute. Secondly, if I don't do what I do, I would be going against God. I would far rather do what is right by doing my Father's work, than do what is wrong by trying to please people. Finally, I have an idea of who you are. Truly, I think I can even pin a name. But know this, as a Christian, I am going to be the biggest hypocrite you know. Why? Because you are going to be judging me every day. That is why I need God's forgiveness and love. He drives my passion and picks me up when I fall. He is the only true purpose in this life. If He is not real, then I am hurtling through space at 186,000 miles an hour with no purpose except for me, me, me, which is going to be tough in a world where everyone else wants the same thing. And, not only that, but what I want: my dreams, my goals, my passions, they're really just pistons firing in my brain giving me impulses. In the end, I have no real control. And honestly I don't anyways without God. Scary world.

I can't currently vote, I'm only 17. So, neither. However, when I can vote, I will vote for whichever group closer follows God's mandates for how to live and work. Currently, that group is the Republicans (or Conservatives), but that may change.

    10. Logan Walker

John 14:6 says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father (God) except through me."

Romans Chapter 1 says that we all innately know of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit because He created us.

John 5:44 says, "How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God?" This verse states that there is only one god---God, while it isn't my favorite verse to show this simple fact.

So, while there are other religions, there is only one "religion" that is right. That's absolute. I know you can't argue that because God wrote his moral law on your heart, that's why all of us have a general concept of right and wrong. We all know God exists, whether we acknowledge and honor Him or not.

Do I recognize other religions? Yes. Do I respect them? No. But you're not really asking me if I respect the religion. You're asking me if I respect the people who follow the religion. Know first that I am not a respecter of men at all, regardless of what religion they are from. However, I do try to love all men in the sense that I wish them best in the well-being of their soul, body, and
joy. Romans 5:8 says, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." So, God wills that none should perish. And even more than that, he's willing to die for a whole bunch of sinners because He loves them.

Therefore, at the end of the day, Christianity is not a religion, but a relationship. Religion is false, but the relationship is real. So, if I was to say that I'm okay with other religions, that would be completely hypocritical. Why? Because that would be saying that I believe that people who don't believe in Jesus (as He is in the Bible alone, not in any other interpretation of Him) are going to go to Hell, and I'm not going to share with them because I respect their opinion. That's not only hypocritical, that's stupid. Simply put, Jesus said that I would be hated when I shared His gospel (gospel means "good news"), I would assume because people don't want to own up to God, a ruler over them. However, if I didn't share truth and show religion for what it is -a lie- I would be going against my Heavenly Father's will and leaving the only purpose in my life. I don't consider it bashful to say that God is the only true and right, because if everything is right than there is no order or purpose and we shouldn't serve any god. I hope this answers your question.

Simplified answer-every other religion in the world revolves around a common thread. All "religion" relies on man trying to reach God. Christianity is the only "religion" where God reaches down to man. Because we are incapable of reaching God (yeah, we're all screw-ups whether we truly believe we aren't or not), Christianity only makes sense. If there is a God, which we already established we already know there is, He would have to reach us. So, from His qualities we see in His creation, we know that Christianity is truth.

    11. Logan Walker

Yes, but not because of the reason you're thinking. Paul was writing to Timothy who was sharing the gospel in many churches across Asia at that time. Generally, most gentiles had a god in their religion dealing with sex. So, women (generally prostitutes) would come into the services and start yelling and trying to attract attention or draw the men away from the message. It would have been a real ridiculous sight. Paul was saying that women should NOT be allowed to do that, and would have to be taught otherwise. So, yes I agree with that passage. I agree with the whole thing. If there's ever something that doesn't make sense to me, I take a step back and look to the historical situation to try and get an idea, and if that doesn't work, I go and ask all the theologians in my church that I know.

I'm just trying to learn how to live for God. It's tough. my time is consumed so that makes things even harder. But to assume you can try and come close to imagining what I think about myself, which is hardly much, that's cruel. I'm gonna keep working, don't get me wrong, and I've been reading my Bible every day. But it's a process, and getting rid of the jerk is hard. Give me a little time.
