That's going to be a pretty long lens on a crop sensor...I'd maybe check out the 85L or the 50L unless you plan on purchasing a full frame sometime in the near future. :)

Thank you! It was an amazing experience for sure!

Hi Niko,
I would definitely recommend the IS with this lens...without a doubt. It was worth every penny. :) I love using this lens at 200mm, even though it requires me being a football field away from my subject. LOL The images it produces are just gorgeous! -
Good light, good focus, and quality glass. :)

Hi, thank you! I do use my 85L for children occasionally. I do try to stay above F-2.2 or so with that lens especially when working with children. I get a bit more brave with my own kids. :) I know the rule of thumb for shutter speed is approx. twice your lens length (so 1/100 for a 50mm), but I am more conservative here (hate camera shake) and try to stay above 1/320 or so...even faster with my 70-200L.

I'm more of a prime girl, so I think I would go with the 35mm. :)

I usually meter off of a neutral area of skin (not a highlight, not a shadow), take a test shot, and adjust as needed.

I have an action that I use to resize my images for posting online. :)

I use AWB and adjust in LR. :)

Taking a LOOONG break. Tired of jerks. ;)

I am not sure I understand your question - are you talking about the sliding side tabs on my blog? They are a feature on my blog theme.

I have a variety of lenses, but a few favorites are the 70-200L II, 85L, and 16-35L II. :)

Thank you! :) I am a Canon girl, and my favorite lens is the 70-200L II, though I have other lenses that I love as well - just depends on my goals for a particular photo. :)
