Good question! I still have 8th graduation dress that I pull out occasionally! (In my halloween 2010 post). But for items I wear regularly, probably various pairs of shoes. My favorite pair just broke :( but they were ancient!! Maybe my brown mary-janes?

In highschool we had a "senior survival" camping trip and we went about a week without a shower, but a few of us girls jumped in the creek and shaved our legs haha, that's probably my limit

Well I haven't been very good about learning about fashion, but I recently dressed up from the 40s and I think that decade was so elegant yet carefree. A wonderful style to emulate today.

I honestly believe you can make a real change with any budget! Just look at your wardrobe objectively and focus on what you are missing and the looks you want. Say you have $100. And maybe you are wanting a more romantic girly look. You could pick up a $30 skirt and (my favorite) thrift some cute ruffly tops for about $20. Add some tights for $10, and some accessories like headbands,scarves, and jewelry for $20. You still have $20 left!
Or say you have $50 and want an edgier look. Buy some bleach for $5 and distress some jeans, get some tops at a thrift store and try to find an edgy jacket or vest for $30 dollars!
As long as you are open to options like thrifting and DIY it is possible! Also don't think of just one or two outfits. Think about how you could wear one top with something layered under it/over it, or worn tucked into a skirt or jeans.
