      Late response is late.

I never really worked out the evolutions beyond rookie and champion, honestly. Every time I tried to come up with the high evolutions I just couldn't think of good designs, haha.

Hahaha, well I'm glad I'm not the only one, I guess. The funny part is that wayyy back when I'd seen somewhere on the internet that the Japanese form of Liz was Riza...when in fact it should have been like, Rizu. But that's where I originally got that name, anyway :P

That whole Japanese/foreign name kick I went through actually caused a bit of a problem with the comic in that Riza and her Earth friends are supposed to be American XD. I've yet to come up with a legitimate excuse for their names other than "their parents are weird".

And what's the funniest to me is that I started out giving characters crazy foreign names, and nowadays I just go with whatever comes to mind. I legit have characters like, "Johnnie", "Robert", "Danny", etc. now, haha. I would never have used those originally.

And that was way longer an answer than necessary! Apologies for my rambling. Anyway, thanks for sharing!

XD I hear about it everywhere. I'd probably watch it if I could be bothered to find out when/what channel it was on. The funny part is I used to love My Little Pony Tales when I was like, 4.

Funny story actually. Way back when, I needed a username for my Neopets account XD. And at the time I was on an anime kick and was obsessed with the Japanese language. So I found some crappy, inaccurate translator site and, of all the phrases to search for, I picked "spring rain". And "hazumi rein" was what it came up with. Which is completely wrong. But my, like, 11 year old brain didn't know that XD So I went with it. And it just stuck as my username for everything for years. There's a similar story behind the name "Riza", and probably a couple others from that era of my life, haha. It happens.

I dunno about inspiring dreams. Mostly my dreams are either a) just odd or b) completely mundane. Like I dream about going to school/work, hanging out with friends, or just doing normal things a lot. The rest are usually just...weird. Like, once, years ago, I dreamed my guinea pigs could teleport. I was a pain because they kept teleporting out of their cage and I had to find them. And somehow a cereal box was involved :P Very rarely do I have dreams that legitimately inspire me to do something.

My actual favorite dreams are usually the comforting ones. Like, at times when something's really bothering me in real life, occasionally I'll have a dream where someone I care about/look up to/whatever pretty much just tells me to chill and that things'll be fine XD. Actually it's never said that way, really, but it's the meaning I take out of it :P

I was wondering if anyone was ever gonna notice that. That'd be Faro. You'll meet him in a couple chapters.

I'm hoping. If humans are the only intelligent life out there then intelligent life really isn't that great :P

I haven't forgotten about the review, I just haven't had a chance to do it yet :P I've barely had time to do my own comic pages lately. I'll probably get to reviewing your comic sometime this weekend. Hopefully.

Umm...just make sure you have a fairly comprehensive story in mind before you start drawing. You don't want to be like me, spending half your time filling in plotholes because you didn't /actually/ know where the story was going when you started the comic XD Also, a script of some kind helps; don't draw pages without something to follow :P You will get lost. Or at least I do. Otherwise, just do it; there's not really a right or wrong way to do a webcomic :3 And always remember that if you suck at first (not saying you do), just keep at it, you'll get better.

DC's usually updated with two pages every Monday. The schedule's been a little weird lately though, since I'm trying to catch up on updates I missed before the holidays, so there might be 3 pages next week. Or one page at some point later this week and then 2 more on Monday. I haven't decided yet XD. But yeah, normally it's 2 pages on Mondays. Also, thanks, glad you're enjoying it :D

Making jokes in a bad situation. Like, I can't honestly take anything seriously.

Umm...well, DC's my first real comic, and that started about...4 years ago? Something like that. I did some little like, couple-pages comics as experiments in the year or two before that, though I don't really count them as anything other than, well, experiments. And I've been drawing in general pretty much since I could hold a pencil.
