Love her. I honestly can't keep up with whether or not it's cool to like her anymore. I haven't heard her full album yet, but the songs I have downloaded, (Radio, Diet Mountain Dew, Video Games, Born to Die, Blue Jeans) I've been listening to on repeat. Taking a Xanax and listening to her on my big Bose headphones on the plane last night was pretty much heaven.

I can probably finish a 200 page book in under a day, a 500 page in 2-3 days.. but to be honest it really depends on if I'm interested in the subject material or not... I've been reading "A Single Man" (one of the shortest books ever) for a few months now, because I can't seem to read more than two pages at a time. Also, I'm generally reading about 5-10 books at any given time, so it takes me a little longer to finish up an individual book.

I like light wash jeans, but the problem with them is that they're almost impossibly to dress up. If I were you, I'd take a page from Rosie Huntington-Whitely's style book and dress them down in a casual but super chic way. (she's wearing light jeans: here http://bit.ly/AF5eXu and here http://bit.ly/AF5eXu). Light wash denim looks great with white, ivory, navy beige and most shades of pastel and neutral.

Pasta is definitely my one weakness too... I'd eat it for every meal if I had the choice. I just try to keep my calorie intake balanced each day, so if I know I'm going to have pasta or a meal with heavy carbs, I try to keep my other meals extremely light (like fruit for breakfast and a salad for lunch). I've always found that if I deny myself what I really want, I'll only crave it more. It's all about the balance.

My routine is super simple - I just wash it and let it airdry. Once it's dry I put it up loosely in hot rollers for about two minutes then take them out and brush out the curls.

I don't have one, no. I wouldn't rule out getting one in the future, but it would have to be once my dear mother has passed, because she would absolutely murder me if I got one.

Well, I do think they're absolutely hideous, but that's not to say I don't own a few pairs. I keep them at my parents' house and wear them when I'm running out to get groceries or whatever. It's the suburbs... everyone who lives there wears uggs, so there's no judgement.

There are so many artists I love! Would you be interested in writing about an abstract expressionist like Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning or Mark Rothko? There has been a lot of material written about that period as of late, so you'd have a lot of resources to choose from.
You could also write about one of the Pre-Raphaelites because they were a fascinating bunch of artists and there are lots of stories you could tell about painters like Dante Gabriel Rossetti. -
I don't know who the first two are, so I'd have to go with Rumi. Her blog was the first I ever read and is still one of my favourites.

In my opinion, the unfortunate truth is that looks do matter, but they're absolutely meaningless if you don't have intelligence, personality and substance to back them up. -
