I do meetings at my home office. I chat most of the time to get to know my potential clients. At the very end I show them album samples. I do have a slideshow of my images playing on a large screen as well. iPads are great to use as well!

Build your portfolio by second shooting and network with vendors in your area. Offer to help them build their business and they will reciprocate

Drinking loads of water and putting my hands under cold running water. It seems to help. Problem is, I can't do that outside on a shoot and I have one in the 100 degree heat tomorrow!

I know that both have their advantages and disadvantages. BUT being that I do not do any of my own printing, I say ink jet for good ol' everyday stuff ;)
