I don't have a library card because I just moved, but the very last set of books I checked out was either for my research on Domestic Violence, Multicultural Issues, or Human Trafficking.
However, the book I'm currently reading is Charles Schulz's biography. :) -
I've never heard that site until your question, but I absolutely love imdb.com, and I'll go check it out....
Ohhh! this looks awesome! I just skimmed through it, but it looks like it's going to be "Toy Story 3"! -
I always seem to get myself into crazy situations. I guess one that stands out for me right now was wandering around the streets of NYC from 3am-6:30am on a Sunday night by myself, and making friends with some hobos and an old married couple who were tourists from China who were also stranded. Long story.

Flirting with the clerks to distract them while whoever else that's involved carries on with business.
Also, making sure no one actually hurts any of the hostages. -
Seppuku. I'm part Japanese; If I commit a crime, I'll take my own life before you do, thank you. Now where is my sword?

Can I also add plays/musicals? :)
Books:
1-The Bible
2-Love is a Mixtape
3-Oh, The Places You Will Go
(or Tuesdays With Morrie)
Authors:
1. Dr. Seuss
2. Charles Dickens
3. Edgar Allan Poe
Movies:
1- It's A Wonderful Life
2- Finding Nemo
3- Star Wars (all of them; it's just the American thing to do)
TV Series:
1- I Love Lucy
2- The Cosby Show
3- Sesame Street
Bands:
1- Beatles
2- Aerosmith
3- Temptations
Singers:
1- Michael Jackson
2- Mariah Carey
3- Jason Mraz (he's got soul, seriously)
(Wow, the music part was REALLY difficult!)
Plays/Musicals:
-Les Miserables (do NOT watch the movie, it takes away everything that makes Les Miserables so great!)
-Chicago (you may watch the movie)
-Rent (you may also watch the movie) -
That's pretty tough, but I would say that I've always had a weak spot/empathy for Eponine Thenardier (Les Miserables-moreso the musical than the actual novel). I feel like part of me has always connected with her character (the way I portray her at least).
She was selfless, and went out of her way to do everything she could for the man she's always loved, even though the love was unrequited and her actions were helping others, yet hurting herself. She even took her own life to save his. Although she's only a fictional character, I've always wanted her to know that she had a beautiful soul and she could rest knowing that she was an inspiration to others.
For some reason, even though I'm generally a really happy person and very high-spirited, some of my favorite characters are the loneliest, and saddest ones. For example, my favorite Hundred-Acre Wood character was always Eeyore, because I felt so sorry for him, and I always wanted to be there for him to brighten up his day. The same goes for Eponine, (and Charlie Brown, for that matter. He is my favorite comic character although I relate more to Linus). They just need someone to love them, and I've always had a bleeding heart for those types. <3 -
classic animation. In regards to content, I would want it to be something like what Dr. Seuss does in his methods of creating great stories that have really deep underlying meanings. The underlying meaning might go over the child's head at first, but it becomes something that is ingrained in them and teaches them about morals and values.
-
The ability to help others see through lies and people's BS, so I guess it would be called something like a "mind clearer"? (not just telepathy, cause they still might not listen to you, it has to come from THEMSELVES) I feel like most of the problems in the world are stemmed from misunderstandings and manipulation/ brain washing (ex: Hitler, Mao, and other manipulative assholes). If I could help people think for themselves and see through peoples' facades, I could lower the amount of blind followers. I could also protect people from getting screwed over by someone.
If you just want a mainstream superpower, I guess it would be prerecognition or invulnerability. -
I have plenty of quirks; I don't know if they're really secret, but I guess some of them take a while to be noticed.
I drop pennies randomly and make sure they are heads up so that I can indirectly make someone happy for a second.
I eat my food in a clockwise manner, and I usually put on small portions so that I can eat all of it before getting full, and then I go for round two.
I eat ALMOST EVERYTHING with utensils: (pizzas, sandwiches, hamburgers, etc.) basically anything that would require me to use my whole set of teeth to cut. I don't like the feeling of sinking my teeth into something and possibly getting something stuck on/in between them. So by using utensils, I can insert it into my mouth, and then chew with my back teeth.
Those are a few of the many. As I've said before, I'm a quirky girl. <3 -
I would make it into a personal home theater. It would look something like this:

or this:

Either way, I would make sure the room also had a vintage popcorn machine, popcorn trash can (i already own one), and reel tables, like the following:

Raphael-san.
In fact, I would totally rock these shoes if I could:

Only when i'm laking the necessary utensils, or I feel the need to be appreciative of the bare necessities. :)

Spiders hands down, because I have a horrible case of arachnophobia.

I would most certainly slam a media sensation with my Memehammer. WHO/WHAT that media sensation is shall remain nameless because I would rather not have a bunch of hate mail. :)
-
1. Macaroni and cheese, CASSEROLE STYLE! Seriously, you don't know what you're missing out on if the top layer of the macaroni & cheese isn't browned and crispy. It's SO delicious.
2. Mango sticky rice....creamy, sticky, and oh so sweet.
3. Crockpot meatballs; boy, am I a sucker for those. I could live off of them.
I would recommend MYSELF how to learn your glorious bacon leviathan, mighty sir :) -
When I was a little kid, I experimented with cat food; my cats seemed to enjoy it so much and it always reminded me of corned beef, so I wanted to try it out and see if I was right...I wasn't.
I also used to sneak into the kitchen when my grandma was making hamburgers and swipe a bite of the raw, seasoned meat right before she was ready to put them on he stove. (it was REALLY good) I've also eaten dishes like escargot and pig blood, but that's considered normal in some countries, so I don't know if those count.
As for what I WOULD eat, I guess we'll have to find out at BC when we try out that miracle fruit (but I'll have to keep a mental note that I can't get too outrageous, so that I don't have to add anything to the hospital question) :) -
HA! HAVE I?? I've seemed to have ALL KINDS of medical problems in the past; let's see...
*Spraining my knee and ankle
*Internal bleeding (multiple times)
*Dehydration (multiple times)
*Colonoscopy
*Concussion from a brick falling on my head (the doctor says I could have died if it had hit me on it's corner, rather than flat)
That is all, thank the Lord. -
Nonsexually, Mariah Carey! She is my role model and I would love to be able to hang out with her. We can have a wild karaoke session with Jack Daniels! I only drink on special occasions, but that would be pretty damn special.
-
Can I name 4? 2 girls and 2 guys?
Ladies:
Logan
(s)aint chimo
Gents:
Stuntcock
Phantom of the J.C.Penny
There are a handful of other people that I would really like to meet in person as well, but I feel like I've talked to them enough that I already gotten to know them inside and out <3
Oh, and of course everyone wants to spend more time with the creator, Mr. Booty.
