I have vague thoughts about a Maharaj girl in Dru's world, but nothing firm. At the moment I am working on a fresh, brand-new YA series that I can't announce JUST yet.
-
Not necessarily. I said I would TRY.
Also, finishing the book is only the first step. There's interesting a publisher, editing, and all sorts of other things. If the next Steelflower book is due to come out, I will certainly announce it. -
I'm not sure I understand the "how come." Ash was part of the rescue team, and Dru saw him while she was being transfused. After all, he hadn't been taken by Sergej.

I think I had the most outright fun with The Demon's Librarian. But you're right, it's not quite fair. It's like asking which of your children you love best. It doesn't work like that--one may love them _differently_, but not _best_.
-
Do you mean Saul?
-
No. Dru does not need to "end up" with a boy in order to be herself and grow up.

Try this interview, where I talk about organic vs. what-if books:

A jaunt to my Contacts page will answer this question:

Fan art is fine. As long as nobody's profiting from infringing on copyright, it's all good.
-
That's a very personal question to ask someone.
-
Not really. Dru has a very upsetting and dangerous life. I value my boredom.

Any romance in my books (except for the para roms) takes me by surprise. I never think I'm going to write that type of story. But it crops up sometimes.

Lilith Saintcrow’s Bio
I'm an urban fantasy and paranormal romance author. I could also be a superhero at night. You never know.
