I wouldn't say tempted because there's no urgency around it. But I do intend to get back on, but in a much more natural, holistic way. I also probably will keep this journey more private and may not blog about it. So all that to say that trying again isn't completely out, but will look very very different.

My partner intends to carry again so we shall see what comes of that!

Hmmm, so far I love being in my early 30s. I guess I would stay here!

I absolutely remember you! I thought you were pretty but didn't think anything beyond it because I assumed you were straight..

Now how can I possibly answer this if I don't know who you are-- male, female; an NP meetup; one I hosted..? I promise I won't be mean if you let me know who you are!

I don't know much about the law school, though I have MANY friends that went to law school elsewhere.I took a couple of classes at the law school and here are my words of advice though: 1) Don't be intimidated even when it feels like everyone's smarter, richer, blah-blah than you. It's an illusion. 2) Network, especially with your professors and other people in the program. 3) Study groups are your friends! 4) Be prepared for classes! The professors WILL call you out and expect you to be on your A game. I hope those help!

I'm glad it helped. I used to always grease my scalp. I don't put anything on it. at. all. Haven't for the past...7 years (had to do some math). Anytime, something touches my scalp, itchy city and nasty build up. Trust me, what we think is dandruff is build up!

Well we'll explain to her from a young age about how she came to be so we wouldn't keep it a secret that we used a donor. However, we used an anonymous donor so the best we could do to help her would be to give her the bank's information and connect her to other people who used the same donor on donor sibling registry. I don't think either myself or her mommy would be sleeping with said donor ala "the kids are all right"

In the whole world to live full time? I don't have the slightest idea. It would be someplace warm, laid back, diverse and progressive.

I love the ease of my relaxed hair. At times I miss my natural hair, but kind of how I miss past moments in my life. Notalgic, but not necessarily wanting to go back. I still have no regrets and my hair is working out exactly what I was looking for-- styling ease, washing/condishing ease, less breakage, etc.

I do like playing in my new growth though :)

Yes the site is for lesbians of color. There are a lot of other sites that are dedicated to a more general lesbian population and there is hardly a presence especially for lesbians of color. Feel free to hit me up via my email on my website if you'd like to continue this conversation in more detail. Due to the limitations of an anonymous question site, I can't elaborate more.

I was locked for almost two years. This was before I knew about healthy hair practices so I used Nature's Blessings (the green grease) and black gel.. Terrible, I know. I got rid of them because they were getting too long (past shoulder length) and it annoyed me because they were always getting caught on something or I was yanking them. Plus I was tired of the upkeep. I decided to cut them off because for ME they were mostly a way for me to avoid my hair. I was ready to face my hair, learn about it, and truly embrace it. So that's what I did in April 04!

I don't think it's causing a strain on the marriage. If anything, it offers a place of hope when things seem to get confusing. So it definitely brings us closer.

Right now, I have 4. I want to get rid of one (it was poorly done) and get some new ones added.
