Use a firm hold mousse before you dry your hair and be sure to let the curls cool in the shape you want them (I cover that in my curling 101 tutorial if you haven't seen that :) ).

It depends on the kind of colors you use frequently. I'd say choose either Naked 1 or Nude Tude. you do get a lot less eyeshadow in the balm's pallet, but a larger color selection. Also Nude'tude doesn't have as many all over the lid colors. For me, nude'tude was the right choice because I needed more crease and liner colors, but if you want more everyday "brush and wear" type stuff, go with urban decay vol 1 :).

I use the clinique 3 step for combo oily skin and their super defense day cream. You definitely need to be using SPF in the sun, and if you have sensitive skin there's a good chance there's some damage from the sun there. I'm honestly not very skincare savvy when it comes to knowing a wide range of products, but I do love clinique, and if you stop by a counter or go online, they have a lot of info to help you figure out what your skin needs :).

Everyone does after a period of time, maybe it's just time for a trim? I take good care of my hair, but I can't go more than 4 or 5 months without one. Without seeing your hair that's my only advice :/

Depends. I always recommend a 1" clip curling iron (My favorite are Hot Tools). With those you can get pretty curls, updos, and if you wrap the hair around the outside, you can get some more messy curls as well :). If you're super into messy waves and don't care about curls as much though, you could go with the two prong iron.

I don't think I could see that updo really clearly, but I definitely will do a tutorial on it when I see the movie, because I am a huge fan of the Hunger Games!
