Ninjas, hands down. They're trained assassins opposed to pirates who just kinda fight willy nilly when they need to. Plus, ninjas are trained to be silent and invisible. Pirates are rather noisy and obnoxious, especially after a bottle of rum.

This wasn't last night, but the night before. I dreamt that I was at a World Cup tailgate party/ren faire. I was hungry and there was an old British guy selling watermelon for $25. I didn't get any because I only had $2 in my pocket. :-(
Lesson: don't go to bed hungry, and stay off twitter when people talk about food. -
My 5th grade class tshirt. It still fits, oddly enough. Either I'm ridiculously small, or that shirt was huge on me when I was 11.

Sight singing. I can read music and fiddle around with it on a piano, but for the life of me, I can not sing music unless I hear it first. I repeated flunked one of my college classes because of this. :-( It really bums me too, because I admire friends who can play & write music. It drives me nuts also, because I'll have music in my head and no way to get that out and on paper.

Leslie is Scottish Gaelic. It means "from the grey fortress." There's actually a Scottish clan called Leslie. :-D
Hurst is Saxon in origin, but my family is Irish. Hurst means "grassy hill/knoll." -
Anne Hathaway. Aside from being an amazing actress, she's got the right amount of quirkiness to fit my character.
