I've been running into alot of Hatley's lately. It's highly likely. How should we verify?

Not at all. I worked in various industries before returning to school for my PhD. These experiences are what made me decide what to focus on while in school. Academia has a limited perspective, especially if that's all you know. Being a life-long learner, however, is different. Learn however you can, whenever you can, where ever you can. Make a career of that! Letters are beneficial and can get you in the door, but you need more than that to walk through and make the most of what happens on the other side.

Realizing my purpose on earth and gaining the will to follow it (definitely still a work in progress). So, I guess that means, everything I've done with that goal in mind. :)

i answered with huh? because your question didn't make any sense to me - especially since i have no idea who you are.

but for the record, i don't have a crush on anyone.

      :)

      we can be friends....

Big hair spiders & haunted houses tie for most! They both bring a tremendous amount of discomfort!

And success, failure, and heights tie for least - although I proceed with caution of all three.

Good question. Can I do both? (See answer below about which year I'd do over.)

If I had to choose one, I'd step on the gas. I am excited about future research & development in my field and building all the ideas in my head. I can't get to any of that until I finish the PhD program I'm in now....

Nah, I love where I am now (DMV area). Although the recent snow did put a damper on that. But I suppose I'd always keep an open mind about future opportunities.

The year I graduated with a Masters from Howard (in Computer Science). I quickly moved back to NJ. I probably would have preferred find out about PhD programs and started one then instead of going through one now! :)
