Windows 7 is much better than Vista, but then again it had 3 years MORE to bake than Vista did and the public bashing of Vista prompted a huge effort to revitalize its appearance with the public.

It would be better if you told me what your software does/did and I could make a better judgement; I'll email you.

Windows Live Writer stores the .WPOST files in the my documents folder; the program only backs up so many, so you can copy them manually. Hope this helps.

I didn't get your entire question... please post it to the comments so everyone can see.
I appreciate it... -
I'm assuming your talking about Dragon NaturallySpeaking?
Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9 can be installed on Windows Vista/7 for 64bit. Lot's of other people have followed these instructions [w/images] and it's worked fine for them. Try it... it's easy and it's more than your going to get from Nuance support; cheaper too.

and

Not saying you did, but you might review every step of the process to see if you missed something. Many people have jumped sections/parts of the instructions. They got excited as soon as the installer started working and then just missed some stuff...
My apologies; I can't provide all the answers, but what I can say is that I've received hundreds of emails telling me the instructions I posted worked perfectly [it's exactly what I did]. I wish you the best of luck with your installation, and I wish that Nuance had only tried a fraction more to help people like ourselves; their customers.
Also, there's been reports of users having issues with Vista 64 and USB headsets; I really can't offer any information there. My personal system uses the sound system on-board and I use a traditional headset; it has to be plugged in before I start DNS on my system.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,

Did the American constitution mean so little to you that you were willing to break every point for the sake of national security?
